The town of Coonersville has rebelled. The citizens there have overthrown the security forces and established a base at the top of the mountain. The town was heavily shelled with headcrab canisters, forcing the rebels into hiding. A Combine Overwatch sweeper team cleared the remaining forces and took over the base.
The Combine have turned the base into Quiver Mountain Research Facility and Military Installment aka Installation 34.

Recently, the Citadel has lost contact with Installation 34 and the Administrator believes that the underground rebels have resurfaced and retaken the installation. The surface has been shelled, but knowledge of the current situation is vague at best.

The Administrator is regrouping the Transhuman forces for security operations. Support in this mission is therefore light. You are the squad leader for a team being deployed at the farside service hangar. Your mission is to infiltrate the installation, assess the situation and eliminate the underground rebels. Good luck.

this game has WAY too many bugs and doesnt feel complete. had to turn my gamma up almost to max to see acceptably, have shadows on and full, and can see self shadows on props and npcs, but wheres the shadows from an object cast on the opposite side of a light source to another object or the ground? game STILL has crash problems with the vortigaunt, has problems w/random objects being "invisible" after the part w/the vortigaunt(shows up in console as not loading models).

its understandable if you guys didnt bother to fix these problems, since the community hasnt provided much support with it. however i will try cd2 to try and see why you guys kinda stopped with this.

try turning up your brightness a bit- it's far too dark in that section. somewhere under the water is a section where you can continue on.

A very well-made mod, I enjoyed it.

Pros: New interface, made use of a lot of the combine tools, such as shock-bar. All of the additions making you feel like a combine soldier were very nice touches. Level design was decent and the story was also. I loved the music. The black scenes were nice touches as well.

Cons: I didn't like the placing of the music, it feeled out of place, I found myself hearing music when getting attacked by a couple headcrabs, and none when fighting off a ton of them in a hallway to open a door. The level design, while well done, seemed like it was below the designers' ability. Stairs looked bare, the city had black models while there was clearly enough light to see them. I just felt a lot of things should have, and still should be edited and touched up. It seems as if each map was finished and uploaded and not looked over (though I'm sure this was not the case).

All in all, I enjoyed it, and despite my ravings on it's bad parts, I played the whole thing. Good job guys, and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
