but...Source is a modified quake engine.
Parallax mapping is the same(theory) no matter what engine you use it on.
Make sure not to go nuts with it though, it only looks good from a far and from certain angles. It can get nasty quick, and is rather expensive.
Bravo to you guys and everything you are doing though, you should be a shoe in for top 10.
no, our engine is a modified darkplaces quake engine, its not hl2, but its not fully quake 1 still. You can still run any quake mod on it though
