With the impending collapse of the Citadel, two members of the Resistance are tasked with evacuating any citizens remaining. Little do they know that their mission sees them gaining critical information that puts the early fate of White Forest in their hands.
The textures on that wall are really muddy MrTwo. You need to fix that.
They almost look blurred dawg.
Lol.
You actually got in-game per-object motion blur?
Yes.
Mother of god, you've done what I thought was the impossible.
Is it a per-pixel effect? Or per-entity?
Either way, it will be a great addition to the mod. Did you look at ASW for reference?
Edit: What's up with the low res pictures? You should be taking these at 1080 or higher.
Yeah sorry homie :(. Also per-pixel.
ASW?
Nope. Asw's ppmb looks ******* terrible.
I mean to say; wat does ASW mean?
Erm, you know you can, oh I don't know, MODIFY that, right? I mean, this is a MOD you know.
No you can't. Not if you don't have the source code.
Alien Swarm just has a bad incomplete implementation of this effect, and it's not modifiable.
FINALLY!!!
MY HEART ******* JUMPED WHEN I READ THAT!!!
I ALWAYS wanted to see this in EVERY source game! EVERY GAME PERIOD You have no idea! This is like the ONE post processing that is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY imo. Nothing says pre-2007 video game like blurless motion.
Seriously, this just about did it. I wish I could vote 3 times.
I remember there are blur in Smod tactical mods.
That's that additive ****. Unless you get over 120 fps in those games, that will never look good.
Admittedly, a video would be a way more effective way to show this off :P
So each individual object is blurred when it passes quickly instead of the whole screen?
Yup.
My dream in reality ... wow :) epicly great job!!! and also will we be able to play just with this new object motion blur and not the default source one that blurs the screen just when turning around? Or is this working completly diffrent than I think? Because some people don't like the "camera" motion blur when turning around or going forward but I think with just the object one everyone would be happy I mean if there is an option to toggle each kind of motion blur? As I said I dunno how this properly works just want to figure out :)
Old motion blur is entirely gone, no reason to have two motion blur methods at the same time. Unless you want MAXIMUM BLUR.
CRYSIS 2 TIME **** YEA.
I still wanna see this in action in a vid :P
If it was in any of the footage so far, I couldn't tell.
