C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Alright boys and girls, rejoice! Why? Simple.

Shockwave 0.92 has arrived. Get it now! (or download it off ModDB)

After hours and hours of work, and another countless hours of extensive beta testing by our fantastic team, we've finally declared it "worthy of being released". Entirely incidental, the release is on the 16th of March (also known as Hunter's birthday), just like 0.8 was last year. So, I'll make use of the occasion by saying: Congrats, The_Hunter! =P

In case you have been living under a rock, in a cave, or wherever you didn't catch this mod before:
Shockwave is an enhancement mod for Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of the mod is to enhance your playing experience by implementing numerous tweaks, additions, entirely new units, and so on. Basically, we wanted to make you think twice before selecting one of the Generals. Judging to our fanbase this has proven immensely successful, as Shockwave is one of the most (if not the one most) played mod available for ZH.

Version 0.92 was originally meant to bridge the gap from 0.91 to 0.95, but since then a lot has changed. Instead of the quickpatch-esque style of 0.91, this release is a full-blown one comparable to v0.9 . The large number of additions makes it more than just a simple time-killer while waiting for the 0.95 release, it really overthrows the game once more and gives the player a much more diverse selection of units to choose from.

Of course, the release wouldn't be complete without some new surprises

Meet the Frog. This is the newest addition to the Stealth General's army, and replaces the Scud truck. It is cheaper and faster than a regular Scud, but since the Scud Truck was kinda ugly and would fit better in a n00b mod, it was decided that it should move and make place for this baby.

Oh wait, I think I messed up the pics...

That's better. Next.

This spawn of The_Hunter's morbid creativity is the Stealth Gen's replacement for the Radar Van. It was modelled after an actual vehicle, despite its odd looks. Basically it improves the Radar Van's mobility, but it has slightly weaker armour. Apart from the new model, Stealth's radar has another small improvement: When upgraded with Radar Jammer a radius is projected on the ground to show where your units are safely inside the jammed radius.

Right, that's about it. Play on, spread the word, and have fun!

Deathstrike signing out.

Oh, and before I forget: I was supposed to announce that we're going to hold a tournament to celebrate the release, but I'm too tired to write yet another wad of text. So, you'll have to do with this:

We're going to hold a Shockwave 0.92 tournament soonish. Details coming up, also soonish.

Deathstrike signing out. Rly.
