C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Hello all, first I would like to thank everyone who voted us during the ModDB awards because we came out 7th out of all 100 mods with the players choice award. To rewards you all because of this i have prepared an extra big update for all of you look at.

First off the new tech building the "Tech Airport"


This airport can be captured to deploy paratroopers which will deploy a signal flare to drop 7 of the basic infantry of army your playing at the designated drop zone. In addition to this it can also call in a minor air strike which is different for each faction:

China : Migs deploy napalm bombs
USA : Nighthawks preform a bombing run
GLA : Old propeller driven planes will crash them selfs into the target location

Next up some redesigns of existing units starting off with new Gatling Cannons for ALL generals:


Second the newly made Quad cannons in all 3 flavors.


We also have some vissual updates for the Advanced Microwave, Chinooks and the new Drone Bomber which will be replacing the F/B-22 Bombers gen power for Townes.


With all that shown now I would also like to announce we're not going to release 1.01 but are going straight to 1.1 and we got alot more stuff coming up for all of you.

failed to copy install_final.bmp to Install_final_original.bmp error. How do I fix this?

My freind had this problem and we fixed it by running it in Vista compatibility mode and as admin. Doesn't really make sense but it worked for me. Hope it helps :)

I cant wait for 1.1 BUT my 1.0 isnt working i got decade disk, and vista, and my other comp is windows 7, i dont no whats wrong it gives me an error and does not play, am i saving it to the wrong place?, im sending it to the zerohour folder in the decade folder plz help i really want to playy this awsome mod!!!!! thnkkkks :)

Perhaps a balance between China and China Nuke can be made. It seems that Nuke is pretty strong as it has both Nuke and EMP strikes but China only have EMP strikes.

Keep up the work and looking for the newer version, hopefully soon!

Um, yeah I have a question, if you swr prod. Dudes can make amphibious tiger shark tanks, why can't you just build a navy based on the battleships in the game and those tiger shark tanks? Cuz navy would be epic!

It does rule but do you guys know that enabling navy in Zero Hour cause LOTS of UNFIXABLE bugs? Trust me its actually better off without navals.

I have an idea for the people of shockwave it is the best mod of my thousands of games i played actually its the best out of all the mods in the universe I hope you never stopped making this mod unless you die, but if you do just make sure people know how to continue this mod this is the best mod I ever played in my life make 1.1 have everything you can make it have, but even if you can't do this idea I just hope you try it I am going to post it in my next post just because I am running out of room.

Now my idea is an idea that I hope you can do, but I won't ever stopped playing even if you can I just want you to try it. My idea is to make a flying air/land/underground/command unit unit ok so we have modded units, normal units, new units, and even super powers, but you haven't made a super unit yet like this one. Well you take 4 aircraft carriers, 6 battleships, mech legs to make it walk on land, and make it beable to transform into a drilling transport unit with 12 auto cannons 3 at the front and back 2 on each side, and when it reaches the destination it can drill back up or drill down and also when its on the ground it can drill down, or turn back into either the flying form the

4 carriers, 6 battleships, or the land version with the mech legs, and the carriers and battleships and when your in the air or on the ground there is a platform that comes down from each of the carriers and 1 units can get on each at a time the carriers can load up aircraft helicopters sea units, and land units the battleships defend and to make it super the battleship cannons are replaced with 1 earthshaker cannon each and the mech legs have rocket pods and chain guns and the carriers have aa guns and heavy blast rail guns and the air version has all the same things except for the legs and there stuff and thats my idea and it has the ability to paradrop 10 tanks and build dozers and can turn into a moving base that has twin chain gun rail guns on the front and sides and back and nuclear silos on the top for air attacking and the nukes only hurt air units and (optional) can only hurt enemy air units and (optional it causes nuclear fall out thats hurts infantry without the chemical suits (optional) and units and buildings and (optional) all sides have the chemical suit optional at there type of special center USA strategy center GLA palace CHINA propagada center
and to make it equal all sides have different types of super units, but this unit is for the USA i will get to the china and gla in my next two posts.

The Gla super unit is a super scud storm/super nuke storm/ super particle beam storm/air/land/camo stealth unit it can only attack when it is in the radius of the max radius china nuke cannon and a min radius of the nuke cannon it has treads when it on land and the sides of this vehicle open to release auto quad tank shell cannons that fire 4 rounds per barrel each 30 seconds and they release when enemys are in the min radius of the unit and close when all the enemys that were in the range are destroyed and each super storm fires 35 of what ammo that have so 35 particle beams, 35 scud missles, and 35 nuke missiles and when the unit is in the air the super storm weapon holder is aiming at the ground and it has hover engines and it has aa guns and the cannons are now always out and when ever it is land or air it always has the camo ability.

The china super unit is a armagerdon/ apocalypes/ map destroy/ land based vehicle it is so strong that it makes the map just destoy totally ending the game in seconds it is so powerful that it has to have a 20 minute timer so it fair and it has auto cannons all the way around the armor of the sides and they fire 30 bullets per minute and since its over powered it can't go into the air and can't fire at air units, and it is so strong that if it does fire it destroys itself right after and if it is about to be destroyed if it isn't destroyed yet it releases an emp that stops its own blast and it disables itsself and it then self destructs so its ammo blows up and it destoys everything around it in a 15 radius.

1) You posted SIX comments EACH maxing out the character limit to showcase your "idea" for the mod? Not cool -- This thread is meant to be an update on the progress of the mod, not a forum to post your fantasies of "naval superweapons with mech legs."

2) Hunter is pretty clear that they DO NOT TAKE SUGGESTIONS. They were working on a navy for a number of years, but dropped it because of programming difficulties. Respect their wishes -- This is their mod, not yours. They know what they're doing; you don't.

If you want to post ideas that you have, I'm sure there's a "Misc" section of the forum to do it in.
