Hi, guys.
Despite recent attacks by trolls, who tried to wipe the mod from ModDb (and even succeeded in doing so for a few days), Generals Universe continues to live and develop.
As some of you may know, after experimenting with a zillion of engines ranging from RA3, BFME II to Cryengine, I've stopped my choice firmly on C&C3 - unlike RA3, C&C3 allows to recreate the Generals gameplay closer to the original.Needless to say, this won't be a pure remake - some features like classical dozers are undoable (thanks to EA's cuts from the engine), so anyway this is going to be rather a Generals-inspired mod.
The development of the mod is no way paused and I hope to publish some playable beta in first-half 2014, esp. if...

Important notice

I have a dire need for modelers who could help me with creating new assets and recreating Generals units. So feel free to PM me if you happen to be one.

Unfortunately we haven't made into MOTY-2013 this year, but a friendly project Rogue Republic


The project aims is sort of fan-made "Generals 2", but unlike EA's failed attempt, takes places in its own universe, with Russia, Intermarium, EU and Great Turan as the main factions. Also, it's the last day of IOTY-2013, so (in case you wanna) - you can support this and other favorite projects by voting here.

Just one more thing, was watching the videos of your work on this mod and something stood out that bugged me... All the buildings (power plant,war factory etc) look tiny like how is the crusader tank meant to squeeze out haha, and tanks and stuff are nearly taller than the buildings :L please fix the scale of the buildings and make them larger ;o sorry for complaining so much haha, just want this mod to be the best it can be with proper scale :) but your doing a great job! its always good to get reviews and opinions i reckon :) unlike EA who do what they please :L

Was a closed alpha version, called the release date for the open beta, I can not.
