We've decided to create this mod based on the perspective of Barney during the week Gordon and Alyx are teleporting back from Nova Prospekt. While seeming instantaneous to them, the trip took a week long. After learning of the the destruction of Nova Prospekt, the citizens of City 17 (and perhaps in other cities as well) have begun to resist and violently overthrowing the Combine. Barney has a major role in this no doubt. Thus begins the story of the mod. The story we have developed closely follows the story of HL2 and its world. Barney is undercover with the Civil Protection and we intend to keep it that way. Why This Mod? --This opens up many opportunities for "stealth like" gameplay such as gathering intel and sabotaging equipment for the rebels, ensuring their victory. --Barney will have to work with the Combine (i.e. be a part of a Combine squad) to ensure his identity is not compromised. --Barney will have access granted only to the Combine.
