This mod continues the story where Half-Life 2 finished and offers one possible scenario. After the big explosion you fall to the ground and are very badly injured. Some people find you and take you home to a small village outside the city where the citadel was built. After 3 months you’re strong again and want to fight on. You have never seen Alyx or any of the others since the explosion. But you try to find new people that will fight with you against Breen. Nobody wants to help, some are afraid, others think that Breen has learned his lesson and won’t start again. It also seems that most of his organisation was lost in the explosion. Then you hear that along the coast Breen is starting again and trying to take control again. So you decide to go to the coast. There you take a little boat and go along the coast so the Combine won’t notice you coming.

Extract this mod to you're SourceMod folder and click on the Coastline to Atmosphere folder, find the notepad called Gameinfo, inside and change the SteamAppld 220 to 215, save it and that it. You can play it without crashing.
This info does count for all HL2 excisting mods out there,
i know this is quit old info by now but i decided to add it here again anyway because there are still a lof of people that don't know this.
So, please do what is described above, it just takes one second to do so and it does fix everything!

This mod is incredible! It's like a whole new HL2 game with new, very detailed maps. The combine are rather aggressive and not a piece of cake, but overall I cannot hand enough kudos to the author. Thank you sir for such a great mod!

This mod has pretty good beginning to mid stage, but all hell comes loose when you reach the final headquarters. I was playing on Normal and i don't know how folks manage to beat the sections when you face 20 enemies in one go with minimum cover and they just keep spawning. Also the puzzles become really hard and the low light doesn't help.

Overall it's good until near the end, the weakest point is the enemy placement, they are spawned way too close to player in many cases you can see they just "drop out of no where". i know it's a good way to add difficulty and intensity by having enemies jump on you but seeing how easy you can die it feel cheap.

Had to use Godmode and noclip to get past many of the last areas because it became unenjoyable. Enemies are way too strong and way too many. And I though throwing 50 facehuggers & 30 spinners at you at 1 go in tight spots was hard.

I am very sorry that i reply so late to all comment here, but i have made so many mods that it is hard to follow all comments that are made about them. Even more so because i am in the final stage of developing my latest mod called Episode 3; The Closure.

That said, i will try to answer now, even when you are probably not reading it anymore. Maybe other people have something with reading it.

FIRST ABOUT THE BUG WERE YOU GET THE JEEP AND THEN THE GAME CRASHES; Don't know why this happens, it never did when the mod was released, it is probably caused by a Valve update that was released after the release of the mod. Because the level end there at the same time it is best to just manually start the next level through console, you won't miss anything this way and it is the only way to play on for now. I am thinking about going over all my mods ones my new mod is released and make them playeble again.

About playing this mod, you only need to own HL2, not ep1 or 2.

And many thanks for your constructive critisism.
I always want to hear what people say.
Its true, this mod is to hard and there are indeed many beginners mistakes in development. But this was my first large mod with the source engine and therefore i made quit a few mistakes. My latest mod will be much better, i promise.

BTW i know you're trying to make these mods really long, and even though it's much fun, in my opinion if kinda ruins the feeling of a SP campaign when it is to streched out and delayed, it doesn't feel natural.

Also some glitches and lag at some points, especially when i need to chase down g-man but i guess it's quite normal. I know you owe me nothing and shouldn't care about what i say but i'm not hating i am just trying to say some stuff that maybe can be fixed so we the HL fans can enjoy these mods a lot more ! I don't know if anyone is gonna read this or you Leon, but i hope you can minimize these mistakes in "The Closure" as i am really looking forward to it! - Half Life Addict.

Great mod sir, but in the same time the most annoying mod i have ever played. i'm just gonna give you some constructive criticism for you future mods maybe (played on normal):

- The positioning of the soldiers/enemies in some scenes is pretty bad because they can get a lot of free shots on you without even seeing them or they just appear too many, so you take a lot of damage, in many cases you die in a few seconds.Knowing that the game is really hard on normal.

-in a SP you need to have a lead and continuity and in this mod in some cases you can like go to 2 places or do 2 things and if you go to the main place to advance, you can not go back to maybe pick up an important weapon or something, and that second place is not that obvious most times.

- Puzzles are either too obvious (which i don't mind) but some also really hard to solve at times even with those indications, the ways to reach those places are hard to find.

- I actually had this problem 2 times. you reach a place where it starts those indicating "cutscenes" but there are still soldiers firing at me and i'm dead when that is over.

- You don't let enough reaction time at some points, you literally have to load the game a lot of times because the "surprises" kill you really fast and there is nothing obvious that you need to do.

- Way too many places that can be accesed where you can get killed instantly or almost and they don't really make sense.like when you need to follow that blue laser and you need to go down with that small elevator but you can also jump on a few metal bars and then when there is like one meter to get down, if you jump you die instantly. (had to write my whole stuff in 2 comments lol)
