Is the HDR optionsal (ie turn on/off) for ppl with slower pc's? i play HL2 on laptop without problems but have not yet downloaded Lost Coast.

HDR is optional and dependent on your system. It will have the same specifications as Lost Coast.

i love this mod like no other i cant wait to play it. this screenshot is amazing just like all the others!! theres only one thing i wouldnt mind seeing changed...the ground texture, it looks like HL1. other than that its terrific!!!!

Umm...no because Hl2 is in europe and Black Mesa was in new mexico

guys dont worry about da specs,first,episode 1 has HDR and has da same requirements as HL2.However lost coast needs 1gb of ram and 3ghz processor,i had a 512mb of ram,radeon 9600 xt 128 mb (wich is workin perfect by the way),and 2.66 ghz.lost coast was running pretty well,but da performance wasnt wat anybody liked,it wasn't as good,so i converted my pc to 1gb of ram and didnt change da speed of da pc,and my god,all my games(including lost coast)were like super amazing,so my advice,buy if u want ram starting from 1gb and have a 2.5+ghz processor or even 3.0ghz+,and a dx9 g.card,with 128mb+,and dont worry about any performance.
