If you watch the video they posted the tenticles burst a massive hole in the wall when you enter so you will be able to see them when you play. :)

guys the Resident cascade hasnt happend yet so most maps will be just the original map untouched, some maps will have zombies or soldiers just thrown in. But wait till you see everything once the Resident Cascade happens. :D

Great Screenshot. It's nice not being able to see the Tentacle - So say you were playing this for the first time, the tentacle smashing through the window would make you jump :D
Uhh... that's Silo D, with the tentacle. Not the test chamber. That IS after the residence cascade.
The guard rails have no shadows...
I hope to see a big Episode 2-style sequence here, with more interaction between the scientist and the tentacle than in the original game.
I'm pretty sure none of these are final...I expect more shadows and details will be added before release ;)

I like how almost all of the rooms done on Black Mesa are extended versions of the original ones on half life. They also have a lot more detail. Well done!
