Very soon from now we will be announcing a release date. Right now I am very busy working on the last scenes for the final map. To celebrate the upcoming release and just because I am excited I'm giving you guys a mini update.
I'm showing you guys some screens from the final map. Cool thing is that I'm not showing you guys the area where the mod's finale will take place, and oh boy, I am really very excited about the mod's finale.
For me this mod will finish in a way that makes the whole play through worth it. The people that have joined the team are amazing. Every single member of the team has shown their enthusiasm through their efforts, and it's paying off.
Okay, so, in these screenshots you'll also notice the mustang, one thing I have to say about it, is that the driving part of the mod is short, way to short. So I will do something with this car in relation to co-op.
As most of you know, co-op will also be part of the mod, but it's been separated from the main mod, and will be released sometime after the single player version. On the release of co-op the single player campaign will be playable, but since the mod was not designed for it, it's purely for the fun of it, and story wise it's not what I consider canon to the single player's story line.
What I will do however is create a few co-op specific campaigns, which will focus on other parts of the story. small side stories about things that happened in the background. The mustang will be a part of this, but how I cannot reveal just yet.

Ridiculously short, which is the only thing in the mod campaign that saddens me. Story wise, it fits, personally I have let myself down because the mustang simply screams for the attention.
Which I have said to myself to make up for in the future !!!

This mod just looks absolutely great in so many of the " right ways ". I predict that it's going to deliver marvelously ! We of the Half Life clan salute you TeamGT.
I appreciate your support jjawinte. You're the kind of Half-Life 2 fan I made this mod for. I myself am a huge fan (duh ;P) but I hope that I have been success full in writing an entertaining story that could even fit into the canon of the Half-Life lore.
I also hope that the mod itself will be an entertaining piece in itself and also has a story that can carry it's own weight.
Time will tell, so here goes ...
