Storyline :
Opposing Force 2 takes place in the fictitious Half-Life 2 universe. It all begins just after the 7 Hours War, ending of Portal Storm. Many xenian creatures are treating portals as a ticket for Earth. World is total chaos.
A surviving group; 800 expert marines around the whole globe, are now trying to finish-off the Combine races on Earth, whose now, are in control of the whole planet once, was taken by humans. The group uses the old Powered Combat Vests, Military Equipment, Vehicles, and many other stuff that could be used to battle the Combine. The group is called Phoenix Army, which, represents that someday, the human specimen will rebirth from the ashes. G-Man does not trust Adrian Shephard as much as he trusts Gordon Freeman, now, he presumes a chance must be given to Shephard, to do the... Harder job.
But what if, an intact Osprey Helicopter comes from Xen? Frozen in past, revealed in the Portal Storm, well, it seems Shephard has a mission to accomplish; Find Goose 3 Osprey Helicopter, but he is not alone, Zombies, Bullsquids, Houndeyes, Combines, all versus the epic One Man Army!

So, we have the return of our fast, jumpy and annoying alien: The Snark.
First of all, there isn't a real reason for this to appear in the storyline, the snarks are vanished. So we decided to put the snark as a secret weapon (Just like the Incendiary Grenades). They will be found in the very beggining (Xen) in hidden caves, and also, big chapters like Outlands, Forestal Ambush and Underground Complex. On the Forestal Ambush chapter, we have huge maps, that means a bunch of secrets and Easter Eggs on one single map. Player will be able to carry 20 at a time, since it's a secret weapon.
We also confirmed the Shock Roach weapon, you'll be able to use it if you put a Shocktrooper down. The Shock Roach will jump at you, and, you'll get it as a weapon.

Yeah, the list is so big I'm not sure if I forgot about any weapon. But well, that's it.
We would also like to say we are migrating to the Ep. 2 engine. Since we don't have a release date planned yet (We're thinking about 2010), the HL2 Graphics will get overused and old. So Ep. 2 Graphics should be pretty helpful.

Are the shock troopers going to be fighting combine? I always thought of them as the soldiers.
Yep, they're going to.
That would be one sided, because the Combine has better overall weapons.

Didn't you say that you were going to release a demo, or video at some point. Any release dates (on the demo), or are you even going to do it?
We're trying to polish our maps and models before releasing it. But since Penguin had some problems with his gcard, it's being hard for him to access the files, so I don't really know about the demo. But we will show a video out of it as promised.
Well, I just remember it: He allowed us to use his textures, lulz.
Way to go! This mod is still alive and kicking!
