Hello, everyone. Welcome to year 2023, slightly later than a promised 2012, 2013, 2014... But we are here, and we are back in full (opposing) force.
After 3 years in development, we are ready to publically announce our return, fully official. Yes, that's right. Opposing Force 2 as you knew it, is back, not :Lost, not :Found, not :Around The City,
THE OPPOSING FORCE 2 IS BACK!
Starting as a "what if" in April of 2020, the project eventually spiraled into becoming this, attracting a huge team, including some members of the original team. The project has been in a non-stop development during those 3 years, but we are nowhere near done just yet. However, hopefully this year, you may see something interesting *wink wink*.

As for what we can talk about, is the story:
We looked at was available to us in 2014 Github release, and discovered that it was not much, even with subsequent releases from various people, the newly availble maps did not really help with clearing the picture, so we had to improvise, recycling what was available, such as forest maps, or the majority of the 2014 maps, are now shifted around, and repurposed for what we came up with.
For example, expect the return of the wasteland chapters, serving as the beginning chapters of the game. BUT, they recieved major gameplay and visual upgrades, because it is 2023 outside, and not 2010 (when the maps were made).

Проект был в нон-стоп разработке в течении трех лет, но мы еще даже не близко готовы, еще не совсем. Но, надеемся, что примерно в этом году, вы увидите что-то интересное *подмигиваем*.
ВРЕМЯ ИЗМЕНЕНИЙ
А вот о чем мы можем рассказать, это про сюжет:
Мы посмотрели на то, что было доступно в релизе 2014 года на гитхабе, и обнаружили что там особо ничего не было, даже с последующими релизами карт от некоторых людей, новодоступные карты не особо помогли понять общую картину, поэтому пришлось импровизировать, перерабатывая что было доступно, например карты леса, или большинство карт 2014, которые мы перемешали и переделали на то что нам надо.
Например, ожидайте возвращение пустынных карт, служащих как начальные главы игры. НО, они получили огромные геймплейные и визуальные улучшения, потому что на дворе 2023, а не 2010 (когда карты были сделаны).
