Is there chance of a single player campain? and do you think there will be a battle lab feature like the old mech warrior games?

I just had a crazy idea for a Starcraft II mod that could completely change the whole feel of the game! The idea I have in my head is kind of like combinding the rich story and units of starcraft II with some of the game mechanichs of Earth 2160. This would include a new piolt type unit for each race as well as the advanced veichle controls such as land toggle lights and air drop. Do to the theses advanced controls being added however I beleive that how the line of sight sytem would be altered to accomidate as well as help give a more distinict feel to the race that uses it. IE the certan protos units get a blue ring around there line of sight allowing them to detect enimies when they come in to contact with it. Anyways I figured I would post this now becasue I am in apt at doing most if not all of the above. I have no moding expirience in genral. Anyone can feel free to use anything in this comment!

Yea I thought that you guys might be able to mix the game up a little bit with a different game mode simular to Starwars Empire at War so it wouldnt be the same thing as supreme comander maps and it would completely shift game Play.

Its a pain to download through steam though cause it doent work right

You could also try doing it as another tab, it would avoid some major programing issues and make part of the job ez and it would just take a click of the button to go from ground to space

you could try and play it off with a starwars emipre at war feel that might work........ keeping ground and space seperate but effecting each other

I dont know how you guys want to do this but I think it would be cool if you could zoom out farther and just place certain units in space but use the ground as a more or less stratigic hub kinda thing. As an example you lunach a special kind of build craft from a building in the ground that will launch to space and start building fighters and orbit to ground weapons!!

this game looks amazing so far! I had a question and an idea.................... you guys might not be familiar with the battlecruiser series but I beleive that it would be a good idea basis for this mod!! it would make this game soo much fun if you could go into a fps mode set too!!!

The modd sounds likes its gonna be fun i just thought I'de put forth a lil brain storming

1)Can only cary a limited number of weapons; This makes the game more challenging and realistic(no ones super man)
2)Some guns have flash lights on the end; a really good idea with limited weapons
3)You need a chain saw

One of the spawn points should be a ship that that players should be able to use drop ships to drop to the battel feild

Nice modd looks awsome but if you add another gun for it you need teh Dublot I think thats how you spell it. Its a modifed isralii verson of the M16 made for city war fair

Looks really nice. A real interesting blend of games.
Personal opinion though is that you could use another "race" instead of orks. Be a little creative!

I really liked this mod though it was really fun and all but I though that you may want to try adding the jet into or part of the doom game. for instance mabe instead of a "treck" form airlock to airlock you would have to fly the jet arcoss the martian surface!!!!

O and have you guys thougth of a way to work with crews.......... Try Battle Cruiser or Universal combat for ideas

LOL this sounds like the Universal combat or Battle cruiser series but the graphic make them both look like crap!!!!
