he yelled at the soldiers and went home.
He filed a complaint about soldier discipline.
but did the men stop, No.
they continued there fun with the story same goes to the Germans as well.
but one major new detail to THE TRENCH MAN was now...
he cried out these words each night: "COOOLEER COOOOLLER COOOOOLLER!"

The story got out of hand when it reached the Lt. Cooler.
he sat up in his bed and thought too much at night about it.
He hated grave yards and dead, and this story was bothering the Pants off of him.
One day hearing the Trench Man (his given name)The Lt. said "OKAY THATS IT WE ARE GOING DOWN THERE AND ENDING THIS NONSENSE!" Him and 4 others piled into a motor car |
drove all the way to the front and yelled at the men to stop. 'Hence the opening'
