thanks for the patch, can you tell me, as far as you know, have you fixed all indestructible ships due to HP issue or whatever??
also, may i ask, why did you make the Imperious not buildable for GA AI in GC? I may know answer, is it because the Imperious should only be a Krayt ship?
i ask these questions, because i plan on making a custom GC, and i am gathering info.

thanks for the mod, is great.
i noticed that the TriScythe was not in the 2 fix downloads, for me the TriScythe is indestructable, it seems because of a hardpoint issue??
in XML i noticed the triscythe did not have an engine hardpoint?
and, if you have a second, can you tell me, when dealing with hardpoints, do all the numbers have to match? i notice on some ships, all the hardpoints have matching numbers, like HP01, HP01, HP01 etc.
but some ships like the Triscythe, the Hardpoints XML for that ship has like HP03, HP03 and then HP04.
do all the numbers have to be the same?

the planned release is great news, thank you for the hard, and inspired work.
I am wondering, i have played and heard of other mods that were Space only GC. Usually when there is space only, the AI does not function correctly, although i have played 1 space only mod that was able to have an actually aggressive AI with only space units.
How does the AI in this mod perform with space only?
regardless of your answer, this mod is awesome:)

hello,
thanks for all the hard work to make this mod. I cannot run the launcher because i do not have .net framework 4.0. I cannot get .net framework 4.0 because i do not have service pack 3 for XP and service pack 2 does not support .net framework 4.0. so i was wondering.....
1. what is in V2, i have version 1.0 installed already
2. is it possible to make a manual install for V2 as well, for those others(if there are any) who cannot run the launcher?

for this mod specifically, i know there is a LONG history, so considering all of the work from all the sources, this mod is a great achievement.

for me, the Romulan sabotuers cannot do anything in galactic mode.
i have Gold Pack, so maybe that is the problem?

Hello Gaer or anyone else who can help,
first off, thanks for developing an amazing mod, so much hard work and done so well, the game is lots of fun.
and secondly, i hope it is ok to post my problem here, i have tried the forum but no replies.
I have run into a problem, where around day 60, no matter what i do, i get a CTD whenever i enter a Hommlet exterior map, whether from the world map or from a building in Hommlet(or from the Arena of Heroes, and i have even tried Teleporting into Hommlet)always CTD.
if i reload prior saves, everything is fine, until i rest or pass time till around day 60. I have tried so many variations on doing or not doing quests, on different group members, and lots more.
I promise i have not used the console, and i have been careful to follow all the tips on successful gaming.
i have been thinking it is some kind of timed event where i meet someone in exterior Hommlet, but i really do not know.
so if anyone has any ideas, or just please reply to say that my problem is very obscure, and my best course of action is to restart with the oh so exciting version 7 NC.
i wish i could just remove some files with timed events or something and finish this game with access to Hommlet.

awhile back i was playtesting for another mod, and that mod was having the same problem, when loading a save game the mod would crash.
the developer of the mod fixed something in the Gameconstants.XML, which ended up fixing the load/crash problem.
what the developer fixed specifically, i do not know.
and whether your issue is in the same location, i do not know.
just thought i would mention this, since the problems were so similar.

i found a french mod awhile back called the Strategic Improvement Mod, it had the Vong as a playable faction. you may be able to use some of it's material as reference or something? and it can be played ok for english users with a few adjustments to the text documents i think i remember. hope is helpful, your mod looks to be great.

this is where you can find AotR 2.50 German Version and the English workaround: Smg-modding.com
i was able to get it to work, but it does take some knowledge on how things work to install correctly and to get it started.
i had to use a different .bat file as well(i think), and make sure the perceptual equations folder is in the FOC XML folder.
anyway, sounds confusing maybe, but with patience maybe you can get it to work, i did.

Glad i could help with the A9 thing.
and Not to be argumentative, i can completely understand how little details can get confused(when you are working with huge mod as a whole), but the EotH corvette is the Vigilance_Gunship, not Gunboat. and to point out something that could maybe be helpful again, the Empire Heavyfrigat Shipyard spawns Vigilance_Gunboat(prob a typo?), which maybe means it will not spawn anything?since that is not anyones ship?(i could not find Vig Gunboat anywhere) :)

Sorry if this has already been asked/addressed. I have looked thru ICW 1.1.1, and cannot find the A9 Vigilance for the Remnant in XML? It is a spawn unit on the Empire Heavy Frigate Shipyard listed as Vigilance Gunboat??? but i cannot find the actual unit. I checked the readme on the forums, and it stated the A9 vigilance was in new version? could you tell me where to look for it in XML, please. i already checked in Remnant Space Units.

Hello,
I am only trying to be helpful, and i think this could be for some people having troubles with starting mod!?
The folder that hold the mods Data is named IVM_V1.
But the Target path for the shortcuts is:

"W:\Games\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\Ivm10.4

the Ivm10.4 should be IVM_V1?
and personally for my computer, i had to change the W:\ to C:\, and instead of Games i changed to Program Files.

so...this is what I had todo to get mod to work, could be different for other people, I hope this is helpful, and i mean no disrespect or i am not trying to start any trouble, just trying to be helpful :)

PS. for people who do not know, the actual mod folder is INSIDE the intial folder.

also i like the mod very much, very fun, cool ships, Great particles and explosions and really cool Music and SFX!

Not to be argumentative, i just wanna give my opinion as well :)

I really like a challenge, and in general most mods AI poses no real threat. In this mod i added the Scripts, Freestore, and AI XML from Babylon 5 mod, so the AI builds repeated Lucrehulks and Providences and Malevolence(i removed build limit) plus all the smaller ships. I do lose a few battles, but personally i enjoy the game much more with the worry that i can actually lose a battle.
So just in my opinion i like that the CIS poses a challenge in space, and would rather it not be changed.
I also understand that balancing can be a from of canonizing the units, so....

Hello,
had a few fights on Rishi ground map, and it was just unplayable due to lag?? I do not encounter lag on any other battles(land and space), except for Ruusan. Maybe lag was caused by infantry running thru walls and thru valleys and other impassable terrains?

Also just wanted to say i really like that fighters/bombers are not overpowered like in almost all other mods. In this mod big ships actually have to slug it out, instead groups of fighters/bombers killing any ship they encounter, nicely done!

sorry if these have already been mentioned, there are a lot of posts to look thru.
1. sabertanks have moved fine for me.
2. playing as the Republic, i attacked Ruusan ground, and there was no starting landing zone so no reinforcements were allowed, my initial infantry unit was spread across the whole map(very wierd) and was generally unusable, the bottom right corner of the map was obscured by a large object? and the whole battle was plain screwy :) had to just autoresolve.
3. also very small thing but a build pad on Tattooine, in the middle of the base area, is not buildable.
4. another minor thing was that the "selection circles", for the Airborne Clones that have a build limit of 4, were not centered on the units, but were way off to the side? Just generally kinda messed up.

small stuff but i thought i would still mention, hope is helpful

i took the line from the republic interdictor. it was: <Lua_Script>Interdictor</Lua_Script>.

for me using the Twilights lock foil ability does slow down the ship, but it fires its laser a heck of alot more(rips thru enemy fighters like butter, i love it)(and i think the shields regen faster?). I think this was done on purpose?, and i think is really cool, but the ability description does not reflect the actual bonuses the ability grants?

sorry if anything is redundant, i scanned prior posts, but was alot to read.
1. Kuat space battle crashes, i swithed out Space_Kuat.TED(i think) with space map from some other planet and worked fine. so Kuat space map is bad?
2. Hmmm, Malevolence does disappear when i am fighting versus it, but only for a second or two. also i added interdictor LUA XML line to Mal. code and it started interdicting me.
3. Anakin died on me, and when he came back, the Kaminoans had cloned him so i had 2? :)

couple of things i have not seen mentioned?
1. the Malevolenc did not use interdictor ability when i tried to flee in GC, and i escaped when i shouldnt have :)
2. the Control Turret ability that Fixer and R2D2 have does not seem to work for me, i have tried targeting many things, including turrets, maybe i am doing something wrong, but...
3. the 7th Spec. Battalion has the Infantry Platoon galactic icon, meaning when zoomed in on planet looks correct, but when zoomed out to galaxy view, looks like regular clone icon

sounds like you either did not put the mod in the correct folder(which is program files/lucas arts/FOC/Mods) well that is where my mods folder is?
or you did not correctly make a shorcut or .bat file to start mod.
Do you know that just putting mod into mods folder and then using the same old shortcut to start FOC will not work.
a new .bat file must be made, or an existing shortcut to the exec. file must be copied and adjusted.
this is what my shortcut target looks like:
"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\LegacyPatch
and
the start in box looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption"
or to make a .bat file
1.open a text document
2. write this: swfoc MODPATH=Mods\LegacyPatch
3. save as legace.bat
4. put the .bat file here:
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption
5.right click on .bat file and send it to desktop. then goto desktop and double click on the .bat file named legacy.

i hope this helps, if anyone sees a problem with my advice, please help and correct me, good luck
