You know...This would kind of be overpowered, if you had air supremacy. I mean seriously, if you just hover over any ground to air units with five or so of these, you can't really lose...
You know, I kind of agree with that. I mean, think about it. These guys are called the nomads for a reason, why not take advantage of the name? I think that would be pretty damn scary though. Seriously, what if you saw someone's entire navy just up and fly out of the water?
Now that I think on it, it would be pretty neat if the unit production facilities could transform into a mobile format, which while granted would make this race overpowered for base changing scenarios, but would still be awesome.

so i was just curious, is there anywhere we can go to see a complete translation of the languages made so far? also, is this game turn based, real time or what? and, in terms of weapon crafting, will the system be more, you use a set amount of resources to make a set item, or you can modify the blade and hit, or is it going to be totally custom made?
exactly, a massive flat plain. that would be a pain to scour every last inch of to find one or two crickets... it also helps that they're green...

well, did you read what engine it is? that engine was made to seem like the total anihilation engine...which the supreme commander engine was based on...sort of like how almost all launguages are based on latin, there are bound to be similarities

ok, i am going to state everything that i did very carefully, and request the knowledge of what i must have done wrong. so first, i downloaded the mod and opened up info, followed the English advice (sort of) and opened locale (in the modded file) and opened English and pasted sgmod.dat in well.. sierra homeworld 2 data locale english. next, i did the whole stunt with the launcher linking thing (i went to bin release and created a shortcut to the homeworld 2 application. then after doing everything said i got the aforementioned by otherpeople bug that causes all the names to be buggy ones, and as the t'auri when i researched the first fighter research available (not sure the real name) it crashed the game. then i followed the info to the word, and it still won't work, everything else is fine though, as far as i can tell, but several menu options are bugged and it can be a bit hard to tell what is going on, help would be appreciated
t'would be a pain in the *** to handle, but if it had less than 1000 hitpoints it would be underpowered...just saying...i would be po'ed as well if it could be captured in less than 60 seconds, as considering the size, it would be difficult to defend the thing from enemy infiltration frigates, and marine frigates...
impressive, how much does the tower cost (if at all)? also, is there a way to script it so that at each point you select for a patrol, this thing will drop a tower perfectly timed for when the hashiba comes back to replace it in it's patrol route? would be sweet...
so....if a game were made in this engine, and we had a bay shaped the same way, at the same time, it would look like this? impressive

i have an idea, why not make a unit called "miner" that can "build/uncover" rocksto mine, but it takes a while, and requires energy? just a thought

agreed, maybe when you're done this engine, you could work on those vehicle physics eh? anyways, every game in the future when this engine is done will use the engine, i swear, they really will
does outterra have a way of simulating stress on the components of vehicles? if so, it should be demonstrated, preferably underwater, to make the effects easier to see
just wondering, will space travel be available? also will there be city/ space stations? also will there be realistic water, terrain elements (such as water resistance, craters etc)?
