If you're using Vista, try running it in Administrator (Right-click, run as administrator... shame on UAC)...

the mod looked so good... but it never allows me to play via LAN with bots under the Patch #9 (1.009). When it loads, I hear some speeches or some sort of music then when it's 75-85%, the game crashes. Do i really need to update to play this mod?

or I can use 1.62 i downloaded from a site? 1.5 atleast...

Is there any shaders with this mod, like the water uses some pixel shaders or it's still the water which the game uses?

Is shaders present with this mod? I tried to mod the LOTD with the included SDK tools but it can't do a thing about shading, unlike Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30/Earned In Blood (which SDK is kinda the same).

Or is it that the Engine is heavily modified or something more artificial is done?

I'll try to play this mod for sometime but I had to give some opinions about the sound bugs.

Check if it is formatted to .wav file with the resolution of 22,050Hz 8bit/16Bit Mono.

You can't play HL if you got higher sound resolutions with it (the game sucks it hard).

This is a remake as far as I have seen... :D
