I am a mapper-in-training for the Source engine and I am currently planning a Half-Life 2 Death Match mod based off of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. Please PM me if you are interested.
We're sorry, but no blog posts were found here. Boring yes, but as confucius always said - if you have nothing good to say, why say anything at all? Check back later, perhaps something exciting will pop-up and be worth blogging about, like season 3 of the teletubbies.
Speak your mind, rant about games, mods and the development scene, it's simple and who knows maybe someone will read it and agree. It will feel right!

Yes, you can use Blender3D for Half-Life 2. You can do static props and animate ( bone weighted ) models. My exported can export these two. There's also another exporter which can also import ( mine can not ). I have though not worked on a HL2 mod so I can not say how well it works in the end in a real usage scenario but it is possible.
since your already used to XSI stick to it...but if any1 wants to start modeling Gmax/3dsmax is the #1 choice
XSI is a struggle for survival in the modding/modeling world..use Gmax/3dsmax!!!!!!!!
