I have seen alot of mods that have a release date of q1 what does that mean exactly?

i searched singleplayer mods for hl1 and this came up for some reason but i already have it and its multiplayer

why would you need ep2 if its got graphics worse than half life 1

love the game probably going to be the 3rd best mod ill play beside op4 2 and black mesa source but i can stand looking up to see the health i like to see everything in the same place
