Oh baby.
Loving this mod so far. The low stamina annoyed me a bit despite choosing the recon class, but since that's just a matter of config editing I'm not too bothered. Recorded a gameplay video with (almost) highest settings in hd if anyone is curious, just some random stuff that happened in the first hour of playing.
Use a download manager that can queue download links and leave it on for a while, it will download files when it can. Something like jdownloader.
Well, thanks at least for taking the time to polish things up and release what you got. Just the fixes you listed in this post fixes most of what I disliked about LURK 1.1! Appreciated, and godspeed.
There was, but for some reason it's not listed anywhere here. You can still download it from here though as posted by someone a few pages back in the comments
Thanks for the effort of uploading it here, but sadly I can't run it either. I think it just doesn't like Windows 7. ;)
It will definitely run CoP complete great, and any other game that comes out for a while. :P
Unless it's as simple as to add the shader and texture folders. :P
Does this mod include the LURK weapon models? :)
Looking forward to it anyway. If anyone has a clue how to merge it with OL 2.2, do tell :) The visuals were the main reason I had LURK installed for a while, didn't like the gameplay itself much. Still a quality mod though, don't get me wrong!
Get a mod that changes your field of view,
I applied it on top of Complete and can play just fine. This makes weapons look a lot more natural, but it will increase fov as well which you might not want. Dunno if there's a mod to only change the size of weapons.
Just disable depth of field through the advanced graphics options, works for me, unless it's some other effect you're thinking of
Works like a charm for me, awesome stuff so far... Loving the new sounds and textures, much love!
Hey just wondering if there's some sort of knife tweaks added to the mod? I always hated the vanilla CS & CoP knifes, they're not nearly as good as the SoC one.
BC2. I like the look of the MoH one too.
Wow, very moody. Looking forward to the mod!
I hope so, or at least something similar, Atmosfear is amazing.
Question; can you actually wear artifacts in any way now? Or can you only do it with the later suits in the game? I'm fine really if that has been taken out but I want to know for sure.
Abso-*******-lutely love this mod overall. The bloom was way too much at first but pretty much perfect now. I think the difficulty is great and I'll have many hours of fun in front of me most likely. ;)
Amazing concept, and it looks great in a lot of ways, but there's a lot to be improved.
Ok first - level design could be so much better. Don't place ammo and health randomly across the level, but in places that makes sense. You want the level to naturally funnel the player in the right direction, and I got confused several times where I needed to go. I even managed to walk outside the map once, and fall to my death, lol.
The dinosaurs look great, until they have to turn around. Spinning around with static legs just simply doesn't look good, lol. And a quick tip, I think the general gameplay would benefit from more aggressive, but easier to kill, dinosaurs. Right now they have tons of health but are just standing around most of the time, not actually attacking you.
HUD could be greatly improved, it's hard to see how much health or ammo you have left in combat.
Make sure you tweak the gun mag sizes for historical accuracy... I know this isn't trying to be a very realistic mod, and neither should it be, but it's a little thing that can easily tick you off.
When you see the nazis releasing dinosaurs from the trains, you get a good feel for what's to come, but I wasted like half my ammo trying to kill one of those nazis unsuccessfully. You need to make a natural boundary in those situations, some sort of bullet proof glass perhaps? Use your imagination.
Hearing the HL2 SMG sounds were very distracting, and the gun sounds were eerily similar to DOD.
But keep up the good work, enjoyed it all in all.
Name is as misleading as always but I must say this is an awesome job. Keep up the great work dtneter, cheers from TGN
