Allied Intent Xtended is the most feature rich single player experience there is for BF2. Building upon the great Allied Intent Mod, AIX aims to deliver an amazing array of content which is 100% bot compatible for use in single player and coop gamemodes. With a sea of multiplayer only or partial sp mods out there, AIX's main focus has always been about creating the best experience for SP that we possibly could. It's important to note that while AIX can be played in a multiplayer environment, the nature of this mod will make the conquest MP game modes unfairly balanced as things are created with bots in mind!

The Battlefield 2 1.5 patch causes multiple things to break in Allied Intent Xtended 2. However, one of the AIX devs, Ti_GER arn354, has made a hotfix that should fix these problems when you are trying to play co-op. The changes are:
The deployable mortar has been disabled - any attempt to select it will result in the previous weapon being re-selected.
Under
BF2 1.5 online, no ammunition magazine may contain more than 1023
rounds. The AH-1X, A-10, A-10b, AH-64, AH-64 Gunship,Rooivalk, Yak-38
and Blizzard all broke this rule by varying degrees, but now have a
maximum of 1000 rounds in the offending magazines. A side-effect is that
the ammo-bar for an affected magazine will only fill up to the level
set by the new 1,000 round limit, and so may not look completely full.

Allied Intent Xtended has probably the best singleplayer experience of all Battlefield 2 mods. In AIX, there are four armies to fight with: USMC, PLA, MEC and UN. Each army has completely new kits, such as MEC and USMC Support kit with Minigun, UN Special Ops with silenced P90 and Chinese Engineer with Tavor assault rifle. There are more than 40 different weapons to choose from, including all new weapons and pick ups throughout maps. Some of my personal favorites are H&K416, M109 Barret, Mk.14…

Just re-installed AIX 2.0 and updated with patches 1.41 and then 1.5. Everything goes well until I go to the start screen where you select your spawn point and kit etc and the screen freezes...no mouse movement.
Any suggestions on how to fix this problem?
I am running Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit

Can I still play vanilla bf2 after installing this mod? Also, Can I play with COOP LAN with my friends with this mod?
yes and yes
I did this with AIX 2 Minimod, but it crashes when loading "objects", at 14% of loading. What's wrong?
Make sure that the name of your desired weapon is the same name. Must be "AIX_Scarl". But some BF2 weapons doesn't work. tell me what is the weapon you are trying to get.
My weapon is Mk14 EBR. I copied the name of the folder, and pasted it on remington (for US engineer class)
