Was born, is living... will die.
We don't support pirated versions.
Just buy the game the next time it's on sale. I literally saw CoH1 and both its expansions for a dollar once.
Jihadi fighters - civilian population = bomb fodder.
In the event of conventional warfare (the only kind that CoH is really capable of simulating) against a military power as formidable as the U.S. or China, no extremist organisation(s) would stand a chance in hell. For such groups to pose any threat at all, they need to operate covertly, in ways that just aren't compatible with CoH gameplay.
Check out Call to Arms though... sounds like it might appeal to you.
It's a known issue, even with vCoH; essentially it means that one of the abilities used by a hardcore Riflemen squad fired off in a way that caused the game to crash. It's extremely unspecific and not much help. :/
Do you keep seeing the exact same error message every time the game crashes?
Where does it say that MC's been released? That's not the case (yet).
They were primarily going to be artistic. Is there a specific imbalance that you think should be addressed?
IIRC, its weapons were just disabled/absent until the upgrade was applied. The turret model itself was present from the moment it was built (albeit non-functional).
We will. But once the Steam release is completed, otherwise it'll just confuse people.
Hi mate, sorry about the late reply.
I don't know what's causing your issue, and there's no torrent for 1.019. However if you can hold on until our Steam release then I guarantee you'll be able to play.
Sorry to hear about your apartment. :/
The initial Steam release (v1.020) will essentially just be 1.019 with a few fixes and some new maps.
The rework will happen after we've sorted 1.020.
No. It was going to take another 6 months (!) just to finalise our Steam version (not even the rework, just our Steam release). :/
So we've re-evaluated our approach. It'll involve cutting a few corners, but so be it.
No, not yet. :/
We've shifted our plan around to make it happen faster, but it's still taking an agonisingly long time.
As always, things have come up. :P
We've adjusted our previous plan to try and bring the Steam release closer. Expect a public announcement before it goes live.
You don't need ToV specifically, you just need access to all four factions.
Do you own the Steam version of CoH, or the disc version?
If you own the Steam version, check out this tutorial (others have found it helpful): Youtube.com
If you own the disc version, read through the installation instructions here: Coh-moderncombat.com
You need access to all four vCoH factions. If you currently only own OF, then that means you'll need to obtain either the original game OR ToV. That's just how it is I'm afraid. :/
In the lead-up to our Steam release. I'm not gonna give out any more dates, as they always end up being overshot. :/
Just an FYI to all the fans reading this: DMz and Beefy^ are the ones doing all the heavy lifting right now in preparation for our Steam release. Not only are they fixing, remodelling and optimising things left, right and centre, but they've also created a wealth of new "rework" assets that we'll start publicising soon. :)
Right-click on "Company of Heroes (New Steam Version)" in your Steam library, select "Properties" and then select "Verify integrity of game cache".
Steam will cross-check your files to ensure that nothing's missing or corrupted.
So you're running the Steam version of CoH?
Have you tried verifying?
We'll see. :)
What difficulties did you have with installation? It should just be a simple extraction.
I don't see why adding a vehicle SBPS wouldn't work. Never personally tried it though.
We backtracked a little.
Our two 3D artists (DMz and Beefy) are currently going through and optimising many of our 3D assets. Once that's done and there's a trailer slapped together, we'll be good to go (touch wood). :)
There won't be any new factions mate. We just don't have the resources anymore (not even close).
Well I get an email notification whenever someone replies directly to me. :P
Currently 3. And no, we won't be enabling mixed teams like in CoH2.
And we still have some great surprises in store. We're not done yet. :P
Open the Mod Studio, browse to 'attrib\attrib\ebps\gameplay' and open up each of the "starting_position" RGDs. Then go "starting_marker_ext" -> "starting_squads".
