As Odysseus said below, this mod is dormant, not dead.
The mod WILL be up on Steam at some point, and too much effort has gone into the 'rework' to abandon it.
I'll put up a proper announcement when I have something concrete to report. Thanks to you all for your continued support.

I didn't want to release any pics of those new assets yet, because then people would think they're in the Steam release. It'll regain popularity when the time is right.
Just to be clear, none of those new assets will be in the upcoming Steam release. They were all created for the 2.0 rework (most are already integrated into the demo version).

Been busy with my personal life, about to start another year of uni. I bought a new GPU, and am currently scrapping together a trailer so MC can (finally) be released on Steam.
I'll see what I can do about that.
Hopefully the 1.020 Steam release will happen soon. Been unable to play the game or record a trailer recently due to my broken GPU, and we need the trailer to release on Steam.

What you saw was essentially a demo, and included several features that were entirely experimental (hence the feedback I asked for). I'll be gauging public opinion on all new mechanics after the v1.020 Steam release finally goes live; if the community doesn't like specific changes or has suggestions, then I'll be taking everything onboard then before the Rework goes any further.
Hopefully that alleviates your concerns somewhat. :)

In the event of conventional warfare (the only kind that CoH is really capable of simulating) against a military power as formidable as the U.S. or China, no extremist organisation(s) would stand a chance in hell. For such groups to pose any threat at all, they need to operate covertly, in ways that just aren't compatible with CoH gameplay.
Check out Call to Arms though... sounds like it might appeal to you.
It's a known issue, even with vCoH; essentially it means that one of the abilities used by a hardcore Riflemen squad fired off in a way that caused the game to crash. It's extremely unspecific and not much help. :/
Do you keep seeing the exact same error message every time the game crashes?
Where does it say that MC's been released? That's not the case (yet).
They were primarily going to be artistic. Is there a specific imbalance that you think should be addressed?
IIRC, its weapons were just disabled/absent until the upgrade was applied. The turret model itself was present from the moment it was built (albeit non-functional).

I don't know what's causing your issue, and there's no torrent for 1.019. However if you can hold on until our Steam release then I guarantee you'll be able to play.

The initial Steam release (v1.020) will essentially just be 1.019 with a few fixes and some new maps.
The rework will happen after we've sorted 1.020.
No. It was going to take another 6 months (!) just to finalise our Steam version (not even the rework, just our Steam release). :/
So we've re-evaluated our approach. It'll involve cutting a few corners, but so be it.
