Where did this pop up?
Where did this pop up?
This sounds like a stupid question, but do you actually have CoH fully installed?
If you do, try redownloading the mod.
Where did you extract the files?
For private use, yes.
See the relevant section on this page: Coh-moderncombat.com
Going to need more information. How isn't it working?
Just an updated .module file compatible with Relic's recent update.
Not set date yet. Should be able to provide one soon though, hopefully.
What kind of doctrinal changes?
It's a known bug, allegedly caused by incorrect image alpha levels. It's not my area of expertise, and I'm the one to blame for it in the first place (every icon that fails to display was at some point edited by me via Paint.NET).
The bug only affects some players and not others; I don't know why. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can take a look at the images and figure it out.
The Steam release will happen next, and include a few minor changes.
The rework will follow, overhauling the game and including a number of new assets. I can't really give an accurate percentage; there are a number of issues that still need to be resolved, and some mechanics aren't properly designed yet.
The same place you extracted the main mod files. I've added more info to the download description.
Unless our 3D modellers rejoin MC, new assets are unlikely. New factions are out of the question entirely.
That said, the planned rework is still a go, it's just that things are progressing (very) slowly due to real-life commitments.
Your CoH root folder (for example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes Relaunch”).
Try the fix I uploaded above. It works on my end, but if there are any lingering issues let me know.
Hi everyone.
I've been made aware of the AI error, and will try to sort it out ASAP when I finally get back home to my PC/mod files tomorrow. Thanks to all those who reported the issue (and AAMC4 for the attempted fix).
There were once plans for (and some work on) additional missions, but our mission coder is no longer with the mod.
Once downloaded, MC can be installed and played offline (although for skirmish games to work properly, you'll need access to all four vCoH factions).
It's extraordinarily unlikely that ISIS will ever appear as a faction, due to workload and incompatibility with CoH's gameplay.
Still waiting for certain information that will let me cement a release date.
Sorry, what do you mean by this?
Can't honestly say. When I wrote the above I was thinking days, but it seems there might be yet another delay.
I'll post again when I know for sure.
Not up on Steam at the moment. Will be very soon though.
Check your inbox.
As Odysseus said below, this mod is dormant, not dead.
The mod WILL be up on Steam at some point, and too much effort has gone into the 'rework' to abandon it.
I'll put up a proper announcement when I have something concrete to report. Thanks to you all for your continued support.
That's alright, no hard feelings.
I didn't want to release any pics of those new assets yet, because then people would think they're in the Steam release. It'll regain popularity when the time is right.
Just to be clear, none of those new assets will be in the upcoming Steam release. They were all created for the 2.0 rework (most are already integrated into the demo version).
I just deleted a comment that linked to unreleased rework content.
I hate deleting comments, but this is one of the few exceptions that I'll make. Besides, some things are best left as surprises.
Sure; it's not like everyone else has abandoned the project.
