I think so. At least, there are a few YouTube videos featuring them.
The newer maps (especially those by Unreal-Eugen) are less focused on competitiveness and more on novelty (which MC sorely needs right now). I think the map you're referring to is Senlin Lukou (OnkelSam's modernisation of a vCoH map, the name of which I can't recall).
Thanks. Dmz and Beefy are indeed back in the fray as of about a week ago, and have already modelled and skinned a new PLA vehicle! They've also been working alongside DB to make many other behind-the-scene improvements.
Our only resident mappers at this point are Unreal-Eugen and Omnicron. Eugen is active on our forums, so you can send him a PM there. Omnicron you'll have to contact over Steam.

Believe it or not, there were errors with the Perth GAMSAT and now we're repeating it all over again. I have until the 11th of April to study for an alternate test. :P

I just started uni again and I'm also busy studying for the GAMSAT (med school admission test, taking place exactly a fortnight from now).
I only have to make a proper Steamworks trailer and then the release can go ahead... but as my in-game time is a bit limited right now, you might have to cut me a little slack. Sorry. :\
Once the mod is released on Steam, it should automatically merge with your existing version then.

It's not actually on Steam yet; this is just a preview. We'll make another announcement when it's available.
The reason we made 1.019 a full release is that there were certain alterations that couldn't be patched.
If you wait a few days then I can provide you with a quick-fix patch. However I can't guarantee that it won't compromise online connectivity with other players. When we release on Steam, you can use Steam to standardise your local version with everyone else's.

No, you'll still need the base game. But it'll be much easier to install, update, etc, and hopefully more people will become aware of it.

We recently found out that this occurs with people who don't have access to all 4 vCoH factions.
You'll need both the original CoH and the Opposing Fronts expansion, or just Tales of Valor (which includes all 4 factions).
No worries. It bothers me too, but unfortunately we're stuck with the current voice files for now. :/

Porting Modern Combat to CoH2 is currently impossible.
You can still use non-Steam/disc versions of CoH, but you'll need to perform a small workaround with the shortcut (see the non-Steam shortcut section at the bottom of this page for details: Coh-moderncombat.com).
It's not an issue of laziness mate. We simply don't have the skillset or resources to undertake such a gargantuan task.
FYI, each vCoH faction possesses around fifteen thousand voice files; it took previous mod leader OnkelSam two weeks just to filter out WWII references from the existing US files.
It's not just a matter of recording voices either (or stealing them, as some have suggested), it's the encoding of each single corresponding Relic sound effect file. And even if we did record custom lines they wouldn't be anywhere near Relic quality.
Extract it to your CoH folder.

It's possible, but the way that units move over the terrain makes it extremely ugly and ungainly.
The biggest issue however is that, AFAIK, it's impossible to have an aircraft land, embark/disembark troops and then take off again. Even if it is possible, the amount of animation and coding work required (per aircraft) would be absolutely horrific. :P
