I'd recommend you redownload the mod. The most likely explanation is that there are missing files; maybe your initial download was interrupted.

Yeah, it's possible. The M1A2 and M1A1 will be incorporated in a slightly different way within the rework though.

You mean the USMC Abrams? That was the same across two commander trees because we had no alternative at that point.
However we're re-evaluating all the commander trees with the intent of making them much more sensible/fun. Stand by.

Yeah, although significantly more detailed. Every structure, doctrine and unit described in depth; numbers, weapons, abilities, upgrades, roles, relationships... you name it.
Almost everything will been changed somewhat, so it's best to be thorough and have a good plan to stick to.
When it was first proposed it wasn't very well-received by the rest of the team. So I added it to HC as a sort of demonstration (like a lot of the other initial HC changes).
The MC version doesn't give you free squads, just a small manpower refund for each wounded man recovered.

You probably already know that we've been planning some major revisions (almost a complete re-release in fact). It may be better if, like you said, we make the process more public and open to critique/suggestions.
We've had design documents for a while and I've already completed a lot of the core coding, but we don't have many fancy new assets to show off just yet. However we DO have a huge number of unconventional ideas that we think will be new and innovative.
So maybe what we'll do is release some faction outlines and possibly some YouTube shorts to demonstrate the more unique gameplay concepts we're introducing. Right now I'm extremely busy (4 assignments due within the next week), but I'll see what I can do once I find some free time.
I didn't even know we had Hesco assets. :P

I know exactly what you mean; you're talking about the names in the lobby. I've heard of this happening before but I can't remember the reason for it.
The re-extraction is just to make sure all files are in the right place.
PS: The actual factions work though right? You can play the game without any other adverse effects?
Try re-extracting the mod. See if that helps.

We're currently looking at ways to revise our anti-aircraft mechanics. We have several innovative ideas up our sleeves. :)
This problem might also be due to your soldier detail settings. Set the slider to max and see if that works.
And yeah, high shaders like AAMC said.

Maybe we're already planning to add Rangers. :)
Check the ability RGD. Make sure the target action is pointing to the right slot item.
Also check the slot item to make sure it's pointing to the right weapon.
