Was born, is living... will die.
Why are you trying to download it? It's mainly there for nostalgia's sake.
Thankyou and ditto.
Can you provide me with the exact directory of the folder you're talking about?
Jesus AAMC4, I can't believe that you're still posting here in our absence, helping people and being an kickarse fan in general.
Seriously, thankyou. And thankyou to all our other supporters still sticking around (you know who you are).
If the day ever comes where we truly decide, as a team, to discontinue the mod... you'll all be made aware of it.
PS: What's with these tags?...
We may have a Lazarus moment yet.
Mod has been in stasis for a few months due to personal commitments from team-members.
I think we're back online though (thumbs crossed). :)
You need to be playing Hardcore Mode to access the T85 SMG upgrade.
I'd recommend you redownload the mod. The most likely explanation is that there are missing files; maybe your initial download was interrupted.
Never seen that one before. :/
What version of CoH do you have? What version of MC did you download?
If you know how to set up a torrent yourself then you have permission.
That's why I agree that it'd be good to get some community feedback before going ahead with any controversial changes.
As soon as I crawl my way out of the pit of abject despair that is university.
Yeah, it's possible. The M1A2 and M1A1 will be incorporated in a slightly different way within the rework though.
Is the HQ sector blacked out on the minimap?
You mean the USMC Abrams? That was the same across two commander trees because we had no alternative at that point.
However we're re-evaluating all the commander trees with the intent of making them much more sensible/fun. Stand by.
Change your graphics shader setting to "High".
Yeah, although significantly more detailed. Every structure, doctrine and unit described in depth; numbers, weapons, abilities, upgrades, roles, relationships... you name it.
Almost everything will been changed somewhat, so it's best to be thorough and have a good plan to stick to.
When it was first proposed it wasn't very well-received by the rest of the team. So I added it to HC as a sort of demonstration (like a lot of the other initial HC changes).
The MC version doesn't give you free squads, just a small manpower refund for each wounded man recovered.
I'll give it a shot when I get some free time. :)
A good idea. Maybe we could stage the announcement of tech trees and doctrines rather than individual units.
Flak is fine. Much better to receive (constructive) criticism before everything's polished up. :)
You probably already know that we've been planning some major revisions (almost a complete re-release in fact). It may be better if, like you said, we make the process more public and open to critique/suggestions.
We've had design documents for a while and I've already completed a lot of the core coding, but we don't have many fancy new assets to show off just yet. However we DO have a huge number of unconventional ideas that we think will be new and innovative.
So maybe what we'll do is release some faction outlines and possibly some YouTube shorts to demonstrate the more unique gameplay concepts we're introducing. Right now I'm extremely busy (4 assignments due within the next week), but I'll see what I can do once I find some free time.
I didn't even know we had Hesco assets. :P
Can you upload a screenshot? It's possible your game is bugged.
Actually... that's almost definitely the case. Can't believe I didn't think of that. :P
Download this archive and extract it to your CoH folder.
I know exactly what you mean; you're talking about the names in the lobby. I've heard of this happening before but I can't remember the reason for it.
The re-extraction is just to make sure all files are in the right place.
PS: The actual factions work though right? You can play the game without any other adverse effects?
Try re-extracting the mod. See if that helps.
Look forward to seeing it.
And just to confirm: CoH is updated with the latest patch?
