He's using 1.019 on the Steam version.

Like South said, the most likely explanation is that one of you didn't uninstall the previous version entirely. Try uninstalling and re-extracting again, see if that helps. And make sure you let the uninstaller run its course!

Also make sure that you're both using the same batch file; if one of you has cheat mod loaded and the other doesn't you won't be compatible.

There's no installer this time around. You just extract the archive to your CoH folder (whether it's the Steam or 2.602 version).

Extract it to your CoH folder just like the regular version.

They're basically faction '2.5'. Not ideal, and it may change in the future.

Ok, can you also check your "Company of Heroes Relaunch" folder? Tell me whether or not contains the following:
- A folder named "ModernCombat".
- Five "ModernCombat" module files.

Are they all there?

Thanks for the heads up, I've updated the page.

Installation is now pretty much identical. Just make sure you have the right directory (don't copy/paste the examples as they'll be wrong).

1. I agree that the balance in-game is unrealistic.

2. That's because it's based upon the balance in vCoH.

3. The Abrams is far from ****; in fact it's one of the single most powerful units in the game. Being able to survive an AT weapon in hardcore mode is a luxury.

4. That's not to say it doesn't need support.

Hardcore content makes up a tiny percentage of the mod's size (less than 1% I'd wager).

Custom assets (models, textures, sounds, maps, etc) use up most of that space. It's a total conversion and as such has a lot of them, which is why it's big (even compared to other CoH mods).

If all goes as planned then yes, new content is going to be added. We hope to revitalize the mod in a major way. We can't be sure it'll happen though due to all our real-life obligations, which is why the details have been omitted for now. :)

Pretty sure that map isn't part of the official 1.019 release... we specifically withheld it due to the AI/pathfinding issues.

Did you download it on the forums, or from a secondary source?

All the aircraft share a single minimap icon; it's about the only icon in the game that can't be changed on a unit-by-unit basis. So we compromised and went with a simple icon that suits all aircraft well enough.

We didn't delete the Predator, we just removed the weapons from under its wings. :)

No, we weren't aware of that.

Not exactly sure what you mean by "gameplay", but:
- MC still incorporates base buildings, tech trees, doctrinal upgrades/abilities, etc. The fundamental mechanics of CoH are still in place.
- It has dual damage systems: one identical to vCoH's and one more realistic.
- We have our own functional AI, so you can still play skirmishes.

Hope that's what you were after.

Yeah.

Every time you play a match, the game overwrites the warnings.log file. So as long as you experienced the error the last time you played a CoH match (not just MC, but vCoH or any of its mods) then that should be fine.

This may or may not help, I have no idea. It may not even be a problem related to the mod.
