Ok, either you meant to say hat's off from Ukraine or you mean the situation in Ukraine and your telling America to back off from it's affairs with Russia.

Not sure which.

Honestly Ive grown really tired of the Russians and the Americans at this point, both are shadows of there former selves. Which is good and bad but mostly bad.

Honestly I liked my country the United States better when we were like GI Joe going country to country kicking *** across the globe. All under the guise of restoring peace and freedom.

My God those were the days.

I'm a Republican, so of course I'd take the Militaristic approach. Honestly if I hear one more cynical liberal come at me with the "were not the worlds police force" I'm going to puke.

Someone needs to take charge. Whether or not you agree with their point of view. It help maintain stability. Imagine what this world would be like if it was every country for them self...

It would be a living hell.

So of course the most powerful nation should settle the disputes. What gets me is were losing that status. That's the problem.

Well, the issue was that the UN said it was a violation of international law for the Russians to even take part of Ukraine in the first place. They violated Ukraine's sovereignty.

That's really why the United States has gotten involved, that and many people back home are scared to death of a new Cold War. With Russia taking back these territories it is "creating instability" many say.

It's a lot of politics involved but you get what they mean. Russia never consulted Ukraine about it succeeding back into Russia so that's probably the biggest reason. Russia just rolled right in and took Ukraine best naval base.

Not a good thing to do with the UN watching...

im english, and let me tell you guys this

ive just watched USA play belgium in the world cup (football) and your team played BRILLIANTLY - klinsman has done wonders coaching the USA national team, and the skill, strength and stamina shown by your guys REALLY was a joy to watch - this action packed and nailbiting game was truly one of the best ive seen in this competion, belgium won by one goal on extra time (score was 2-1 belgium) but it just as easily could have been a USA win. the goalkeeper, howard, put in a breathtaking performance...as did that little tenatious bulldog Bradley, jones just kept coming and coming, and the little hispanic looking guy on the right (number 2,i forget his name) was as fast as greased lightening and got stuck in everywhere.
(if you do not know) full time is 90 mins, and extra time is another 30 - and even at minute 25 of extra time, the USA players showed amazing stamina, and were stringing together some amazing "plays" (as you might call them!). one free kick from just outside the penalty area was as skilled as i have seen
like i said, a real joy to watch this USA team, who have now proved themselves as a "real" team on a world stage.
i will say this, Argentina played another game tonight (for those of you who dont know - one of the top names in world football over the decades) and in my opinion, if your USA team had played THEM tonight, they would surely have beaten them.

OK, so the USA have been (like many others) knocked out of this competition..... but after what ive seen tonight, i would like to say to you U.S. guys..

..."C'mon,..all of you start getting behind and supporting your national FOOTBALL team! - embrace the beautiful game! you really do now have a skilled, serious team ....... c'mon, start supporting a game where your national team play actual OTHER COUNTRIES teams in a world competition?!

I actually find it humorous that we have a kick *** team but little interest in the sport compared to other counties.
