Well misery is a train wreck I guess that's more reason to be excited for this mod not that I wasn't already excited about it of course.

I usually cycle hard saves but I was putting my trust in the game that it wouldn't crash *and* corrupt my save.

Karabiner 43 "it is an effective sniper" I'm not sure if the spread is glitched or something but I can't hit anything with it and I know it's not bullet drop because the shots commonly fire over the enemy in addition to just randomly firing to the side. And apparently firing at some bandits has crashed my game with a "stack trace:" error and corrupted my quicksave with an hours worth of progress I'm not saying that's necessarily anythings fault but I feel like it might be worth mentioning.

I'll assume it's because I didn't downgrade to 1.0004 due to having the steam version, *sigh* oh well.

Uh is it intentional that my character feels like he's walking on the moon? Or now that I think about it the videos look fine so I'm not really sure what's up.

I really hope you have competent testers this time so we don't get a repeat of the turrets or pellet rounds those abominations of game design.

A better strategy for people early on is that in the room full of bloodsuckers there is a corner on the left where you can stand and knife bloodsuckers they don't attack if your standing in the right place but it requires some trial and error.

Stupid five minute edit limit I just wrote another paragraph that I thought of after I finished writing this and now it's all gone. But anyway *their not they're.

I really wish I didn't have to come back here but health values apparently affect nothing within the mutants text files or maybe they only work when A-Life is turned off which only garners more questions but either way boars seem to have invisible power armor on. So any ideas how to lower they're health for realzies? at this point I don't even care about chimeras I just need to be able to kill the extremely common and early enemies that really like to stomp my face and dreams into the ground.

Thank you and it's fine I know a little about modding it shouldn't be too hard to just modify the health values as long as it uses the same format as the original files.

With all due respect you seem to think that this is the only mod I've played with any of those features it's not and I'm tired of having to say that I know how to play this game and this mod. But more to the point I think anyone who has played this mod probably used the same tactic I have, hiding on top of stuff till whatever your fighting is dead. And I don't find it very fun myself if you guys don't want to do an optional "weaker mutants" in the configurator could you please allow us to edit the files or if you can edit the files I would like to know how as they don't install to the gamedata to my knowledge.

Sorry it got a little bit too real talk there but I have a legitimate issue with the mod. All I'm asking is that for us that like dying quickly and killing quickly please add an option for weaker mutants I really enjoy the mod and that's my only real complaint. And as a side note I know how to play Stalker I've been playing it for years and SHoC is my favorite game of all time.

I had a Saiga and I know how to use it that's not the problem. Feels pretty bad when you start insulting me because I had a hard time trying to kill the two bloodsuckers that run at you at the same time in an ambush AFTER I already cleared the area.

Well it still bleeds right so if my bullet is clearly going THROUGH the animal it's bound to do some serious damage. But that aside I do carry a Saiga or a Winchester 1300 "assaulter" with me at all times and still it takes at least an F1 or some other explosive to kill a Chimera. And considering how early on you encounter bloodsuckers (especially now that you added additional ones) they should be fairly easy to kill with a low level assault rifle because it's really just no fun when you have to hide on top of some boxes to kill them.

In the next version can we maybe have the option to make mutants die with bullets? I'm not even joking it's pretty absurd that with a high calibre sniper I can't even hurt chimeras or bloodsuckers I always have to grenade spam or lead them into anomalies which isn't always an option.

Ok why do I keep getting shot at for no reason for instance the three guards at the gate to the bar just shoot me on site and multiple loners have shot me as well it's making the game impossible.

honestly this download is the most time ive ever spent doing nothing for nothing 600 something megabytes for 1 chapter (borealis)the rest are e3 maps 1 doesnt work the other one is useless and a test map where the only thing on the map are some zombies the maps main motive is to kill you and a nother stupid test map for textures

ok just donloaded for an hour for 3 maps 1 doesnt work

i honestly never wanted a mod for a game more i just hope it has full voice acting the maps look great some people even thought this was episode 3

looks like a hybrid of human and vortigaunt

if this has good voice acting good graphics and lots of quests then this would be one of the biggest and best mods for half-life 2 ever just dont die i would pay 50 bucks for this if it had multiplayer

i think a supposedly 6 year project i would pay 20 bucks for this i mean i know ill beet it in 2 days but still the pics look awesome i wonder why modders do this anyway i mean 6 years its awesome but 6 years
