Really, I expected this to be the game of the year but it was a big disappointment. It's still real fun to play, but I expected much more. Destruction is both great and bad, I like how it's very well focused on tiny details but it sucks that not too much buildings can be collapsed. Not to mention all the bugs... I hope they'll fix them. Also no mod support? Why? ArmA2 also has a very complex engine but look at how many mods there are. Shame on you, DICE and EA.
This is better than BF3. It is 6 or so years old and better than BF3. That is because of the modding abilities. Even though EA/DICE doesn't give a crap about it now, mod teams are still working on it and make the game even better.
Not perfect but it's entertaining to play, especially for LAN games. Great job!
It's entertaining to play, I'm looking forward to play it on MP (didn't manage to do it yet). What bugs me is that free look in some vehicles is limited. Also, I get some FPS drop in some moments, although I got a pretty fast computer. It's a nice mod, but doesn't bring in anything that would make my jaw drop, so 8 is just fine. Hope future releases are as succesful (and even more) as this one.
Yeah, the good old mod... That was an inspiration for my own old mod, this mod was a guru for me. Good times...
