This isn't necessarily an awesome mod, but it's definitely nostalgic. Neat to hear all the old sound effects in the new game. But now im not sure if i wanna play doom 3 or doom 2!!!

I'll give this one a 6/10, to be honest so far from what i've played im not every impressed, what bugged me the most was the difficulty, im no noob, i've been playing crysis since launch, and numerous other fps games, but for some reason these Chinese bastards are killing me super easily. I wasn't impressed at all by that. Secondly, the fact that all the dialogue is all text is a big negative to me, It wouldnt be hard at all to get voice actors to play certain parts, it makes the mod about as half as immmersive as it could have been.
Those are my initial impressions and as they say, first impressions are the most important.

I gave a 8 and here's why.
The mod was really well done, i have to hand it to the mappers, who must have busted their *****. The maps are greatly detailed with just the right amount of clutter. I never got lost for more than a couple minutes either.
I had a few bugs/glitches that weren't experience breaking so its no big deal. Another thing I really like about this mod was the sense of urgency I got from all of the combine coming at me. The custom voice acting and face posing were both on par with the mapping.
I would have liked to see the scripted events be fluent instead of blacking out to a screen to load a new level. It ruined the mods flow for me. And if the mod would've had just a little more polish into it, and some more work done to the story, this wouldve been a definite 9.5 or 10 out of 10.

Centralia Part 1, is a Taste of what's to come in the full mod. I saw some stuff I liked in Part 1, But there seemed to be alot of thriller, but it still catches my attention as a mod i should follow. It doesn't give us many questions to ask either - as a horror survival mod should. However, I enjoyed being trapped in a underground mine, i had the feeling of being far underground and it was pretty claustrophobic. Being trapped like that is one of my big fear so this is really cool!

Hey, this is Deadrawkstar from Modinformer.org
I've played this mod several times, with a few of the same people, this is a beta, i know that, but i'm still going to list what i see good and bad about it.
-Maps: Their the BEST feature of this mod so far, although some are big, and built for full servers, they're diverse and fun.
-The Class Maker: This has been seen before, but this stripped down version is nice and simple, although it could use refining.
-The animations are horrid, most are jerky/not full - this should be at the top of your priorities list to fix
-The gameplay ideas are great, but need fixing, everytime i play, i end up playing the same guy who sits in the capture point and spams grenades out of them. They NEED to be shoot-thruable. Perhaps have a scoring over time system similar to battlefield? or rethink it entirely.
-Weapon Models; The models quality aren't consistent, although some are good, and accurate to the real life counterpart (bennelli nova), some of the others are poorly modeled and could use work.
-add in voice support!- dont make me open the console and type enable_voice 1, i know mic spammers are annoying, but there are work arounds you could impliment into the ui - (the console has a mute player feature), and whats the point of having a team based game without having an efficient way to talk to your teammates.
Thanks for reading. - Deadrawk
