Ultimate Apocalypse Mod (DOW SS)

i have heard about this mod many times and that it included a lot of content for the races. initially i thought it would be a great mod, but when i first tested space marines i already see a lot of bugs and problems like:
unit weapon upgrades not working properly, horseshit balancing that focuses too much on titans, no proper unit lockouts when picking any army branch for the factions, inaccurate tooltips (the chaos space marines for example say you can build a plaguereaper if you pick nurgle path but that's ******** since the unit doesn't even show up AT ALL and too many redundant units are added(like really why have burna boyz when the slugga boyz not only can use burnas but have larger numbers which make them far better at actually mobbing and tying up ranged units.)
Overall this mod is nothing but a glorified fraud and a messy piece of garbage.
just try the unification or crucible mods instead as those mods are at least bug-free(most of the time) and add extra units that are actually fun to use and interesting too

Rise of the East

this mod has good graphics but gameplay-wise, the factions are horribly imbalanced and some more a lot of the new units are completely redundant and unneccesarry(shatterer and sonic tanks etc) the east asia faction also feels incomplete to me and they are pretty much just a copy-paste of china from the generals franchise
overall i am not happy with this mod as a whole

YR Red-Resurrection

only flaw this mod has is being based on vanilla RA2 instead of RA2 YR. Otherwise it has really better gameplay in general.

CnC: Final War

Mod review

this mod has good ideas but they need far better execution in order for the mod to compete with mental omega and red resurrection; the balance needs a lot of fine tuning for starters.

this mod adds lots of crazy and cool ****. Has fairly good balance overall. My only rants about this mod is that the AI is an ******* and for the GLA stealth and assault generals, their AIs are retarded in certain maps.

C&C: ShockWave

Mod review

This mod gives lots of new units and wonderful diversity to the generals themselves with a really good sense of balance too. every general including even the vanilla ones feel unique and fun to play with.
Must have mod that will never fail you or bore you :)

this mod has a lot of flaws despite the cool ideas and the balance needs more work.

The things i hate the most about this mod is the fact that you can only build ONE unit production building(barracks eg) instead of multiple like any other RTS in tournament mode and the fact that the AIs are incomplete. Also as i said the mod has a lot of cool ideas but the game balance is total dooky and garbage; it adds units just for the sake of adding without any concern for balancing

bottom line, please get the basics running before releasing a mod and be more thoughtful on what unit to add or not add

pros:
awesome campaign
smashingly brilliant music
nice units, good balance
subfactions are so fun to play :)

cons:
difficulty not forgiving; can be a turn off for casual play :(
still has some bugs that need to be ironed out and dealt with

Company of Heroes: Eastern Front

other than the AI acting like a total bitch and ******* in team games, this mod is pretty close to perfect,and the units in soviets and ostheer are unique in so many ways.though, but the old factions must still be updated in some ways though, and i wish there was more stuff we could use, but this is a mod u must play no matter what :)
