Since NES/Master System II times I collected nearly any console, kept my games and got a self build arcade machine in the kitchen (including MAME and a loooot of games). Music production started with ejay program's. Later I moved on to Fruity Loops/Studio, which I'm using until today. I really love the Stalker games and am fascinated from the zone. I'm was quite ****** about the communication regarding the progress because I decided to develop a mod based on CoC. I was waiting all the time about some hint or anything else what is going on, what the progress is and so on.
Now I'm reading this and I'm feeling a little bit bad about being mad...
I can do some scripting, texturing, audio and and story telling stuff... but sadly I can't provide any help to you will need right now as it seems.

Try to get the last version stable... there are so many good things in it and I personally like the r6. I had more problems with the 1.4. Good luck guys!

Doesn't not wonder me at all.
The log is FULL of problems.
Not that game breaking but again, full of error's.

And it ended with just a stack trace without any hint about what caused the error.

This mod needs serious fixing...

At first it looked good but than I got to the rookie village and talked to the Doctor pee started and a ctd appeared.

Yep. It works, but 1.5 users should not use the actor.ltx
I suggest to copy over the lines 43-48.

Tested it, most thing that makes it not usable for me is the fact, that is doesn't match with the player shadow which gives the situation itself are very strange visual.

My games differs a lot from the original one... so difficulty is completely different.

Which lines exactly were edited?
I compared the 1.5 actor.ltx but there are too many changes in it.

On the other hand... Stokker has a point... but I would like to test it out^^

Well, it has nothing to do with CoC and even if the project is dead it quite ****** me off using stuff from other modders without asking, or at least crediting the creator. We had such cases years ago with... what was it? The sleep mod for Clear Sky? Or folks going mad because GSC had the weather files from AMK still in their data files?

I know that I spend a lot of time working on this map, adjusting all maps, using images from google and bring them together so it fits. Several days of work. And yes its from google but does this legitimate the fact the it was more or less stolen? Without asking? Even google adds something like: Images may be subject to copyright
Will make it a hell lot easier for me to mod if every mod that hasn't been update since some time is now free to use without crediting the authors.

Its something about respect to the creators. Something that at least should be done to appreciate their work.

But getting down votes for my comment says a lot.
So this will be my last comment on this.

Trucks Cemetery is heavily modified due to issue with running out of memory.
Almost all vehicles were deleted which is compared to the original in the zone quite fitting.
Stashes are also fixed so nothing got lost.

Oh... one thing is gone: the out of memory problem.
Never happend again due to the fact that the cform was reduced from almost 180MB to 40MB.

Oh good god... I've never paid any attention to the layers. Now I got it! Thanks a lot man!
Now I need to finish compiling the rest of the levels and hopefully fix the trucks cementery.
After this all levels are converted to Absolute Nature. :D

Would it be ok to use your levels in my mod of CoC?
They are totally awesome! A shame some of them won't fit due to changes of CoC. But I got several Levels working lile cordon, agroprom, red forest, darkscape and rostok.

Would it be possible to get this working without any edits on the all.spawn?
I have several solutions for Clear Sky to manage this via scripts.

Its always a problem if a new version pops up so the all.spawn can not be used anymore.
While a script based solution will just continue working.

Its no problem to spawn a radio via script.
But I can not get the connection to the point where the sounds are added.

Maybe the creator stored the animation in a different _hud
Try copy over a few other _hud files and test them. The game only searches for a correct named animation. This filename seems to be not involved.

At least that is my experience^^

I'm getting an error message which causes trouble... or lets say it indicates a problem and I don't know where it comes from:

VERIFY_FAILED: xrstring.cpp[156] {str_container::dock} sizeof(str_value) + s_len_with_zero < 4096

Does anyone have an idea what good be the cause?
The game is modified and I don't know where to search for the troublemaker...

CoC has not much in common with the storyline of the original games.
I killed a mono rookie on my first visit in the agroprom underground the other day... adds a little bit more spice ;D
