Since NES/Master System II times I collected nearly any console, kept my games and got a self build arcade machine in the kitchen (including MAME and a loooot of games). Music production started with ejay program's. Later I moved on to Fruity Loops/Studio, which I'm using until today. I really love the Stalker games and am fascinated from the zone. Here on moddb.com I try to keep up some sort of support for the German fanbase. If any of you modder guys out there thinks you need a German translation, send me a message. You want to play the mod? Well... this will take some time, dude. We got a nice set of levels and some npc's which are planed a new here and there and some new missions. Weapeons are quite done, artifacts must be reworked and balanced. So atm its quite boring, becuase the rework of the AI starts by now. Every level will be pulled empty from squads and then we will rewirte the logic of the squads, so there will be way more action in the zone as before. And with 'starts by now' means I will start with the first level today. And this has to be done for more then >10 levels.

So yeah... it will take a loooong time until we reach a release status. We are doing something here, which wasn't developed for clear sky in all the years. So we have to start from the beginning to fill the zone.

This is not a simple graphic modification with some new weapons. Our goals are quite more bigger. If I'm done with the swamp, which will be the first level to be tested with our new plans, I will upload a video to show you guys what is planed and what is working.

The map is lost village from the mp part of the game.
Around 100 new trees and bushes were added, the bar is custom made and many detail objects were added and will be added. Stuff like chairy, tabley, boxes, even smaler details like buckets, glases in the bar, empty vodka bottles etc...

It will be a nice village in the middle of the zone.
To gain access to have to fulfill sereval conditions.
One of the conditikns will be your rank, several other won't be mentioned for the secrets sake^^

why only there? I think they have a right to wander through the zone as any other mutant. Maybe they are old villagers, or farmers, some used to work in the area and even some were part of the things which happend.
Near psy anomalies it would be nice to have phantoms, or quite brainf****g sound which freeze your blood or let panic kick in^^

Well due to some problems with the X19 level I've got the check out particles from SoC I guess... there is a static fire effect missing called 'fire_distort_big' and there are some shaders which seem to make problems, there are mentioned in the log, but I don't know if its a real problem or just a debug message.

I hope it works so far, I added more weathercycles, tweaked the emissions and merged particle paradise with ZOTH. Looks quite nice and fits perfect to the look of the mod. Now I should modify the night ambient and tweak the darkness at night a little bit more.

The bar is well populated a give the feeling of the good olddays from SoC. Several new missions were also added, but there is still a lot to do to fill the world with stories, quests and atmosphear.:)

Right, but by adjusting the speed a bit it doesn't look that bad anymore. That is everything what is possible from my side. And as far as I remember, the problem appears in any other mod which uses mutants which are faster then normal. OGSM has the same problems with their plague zombies. I try to get as close as possible to the animation. :)

We are exactly two people trying our best to get 'our baby' ready.
But that's also the biggest negative point if you like to put it that way.
Because with only two people filling the zone with stuff and even new missions it takes a loooooot of time.

Attempt in the mission was: You spot them, shoot them... and ruuuuun! *panic*

And with the normal loadout we got atm this works perfect. :)

Have you mixed this up a little bit with Call of Chernobyl? COC will by for CoP and its also total freeplay.

And maybe its not that bad... you can have 2 mods with different content^^

You will be busy to end the day alive. Anomalies, mutants or human enemies... there will be a lot of opportunities so you have to worry about boring times. ;)

No "walk in the park" until the end of the zone. You want to visit the bar? Lets start by trying to stay alive if you find the transition.

Oh... you don't know where the transition to the bar is? Oops... then you might become friend to the guys on the garbage. After running some errands you maybe will get the data you need. ;)

ATM we got several new added levels for the mod. Biggest problem is to convert the old SoC maps without having some shadow glitches in some places. We are still trying to figure out what the problem is. And we won't compare this with Call of Pripyat. These guys are far more pro, than we are^^ But in the environment of Clear Sky, this mod is quite unique.
