Since NES/Master System II times I collected nearly any console, kept my games and got a self build arcade machine in the kitchen (including MAME and a loooot of games). Music production started with ejay program's. Later I moved on to Fruity Loops/Studio, which I'm using until today. I really love the Stalker games and am fascinated from the zone. Here on moddb.com I try to keep up some sort of support for the German fanbase. If any of you modder guys out there thinks you need a German translation, send me a message. BTW: The community patches are as good as the latest ones release by monk. But now everything is build in. Fixes yes, some additions were left out.

More details will follow if I'm sure this project will see the light one day. But until now I gotta say: Everythings runs smooth ... maybe thats the reason why I'm a bit nervous... its xray... xD

Ich weiß nicht, ob es mit der Steam Version vernünftig läuft. Ich brauche wenn, dann den Inhalt des Log, damit ich schauen kann, ob da etwas drin steht, was auf den Fehler hindeutet.

Oh man... Ich lese es zwar erst jetzt, aber... da saß der Fehler mal wieder vor dem Bildschirm. Da ich zu 99% positive Rückmeldungen erhalten. Zu mal auch genügend Dokumentation bei liegt, damit es auch wirklich bei jedem klappt. Anhand des Logs hätte man vermutlich auch sehr schnell heraus finden können, was da schief gelaufen ist.

Die beschriebenen Fehler habe ich so noch nicht ein Mal in Verbindung mit der OGSM gesehen.

Thanks for the answer, but I gave this mod up as well. Its soljanka... the start was good, the first hours were very nice but now the CTDs come up every hour or so unpredictable. All random crashes without a proper log file. So even no hint, what is the problem.

Is there any way to calm down the animations of the bloodsucker? Damn they are quite annoying. The rest of the mod is real nice I got to say! Stable until now, no game braking bugs and its running quite smooth, even on my laptop. Maybe I will be able to play this mod finally. :)

Sounds nice. Will give it a try. Sadly I never had any luck with this mod. Tried several versions, patchlevel and so on... would be very nice to enjoy the soljanka.

What about problems with lightning and the r2 render? Is the swamp save to visit on dx9?

We have some sort of creative pause... I was working almost one year straight on the mod and I needed to see something different. ATM I enjoying the wastelands of Fallout 4. But I can hear her calling... so modding will be continued soon and there will be updates. :)

Thats a personal goal of myself, to make CS look better than before, but without using any graphical extenders like reshade. There are a lot a of mods out there, which actually screw up the whole look using some stupids effects, just because its possible.

For creating this setup for CS I used quite a lot of textures from all parts of stalker. I also find some nice polished vanilla textures with better bumps, which give the zone a nice SoC in CS.

If I manage to find, or create a setup for reshade that would be fitting for our mod, I might make it optional. But this is a task for later on... atm we got more important goals to fulfill.

Thats a ppe, the old one from SoC which was used for mods there. The red colr is ok, but I'm still thinking about changing it. Turning the sky red will be difficult, because I need to change the textures and then they should look fitting for the emissions... which I can imagine it could be a hard task.

No doubt man, I can clearly see and understand your point! At least we are 2 team members, so even a HDD crash can harm us, we got backups on several devices. We have got a proper base for the mod which is rock stable, so any errors which may comeup are our faults so atm its easy to spot them.

With several stunning mods in mind like smarter cop we really want to avoid that our baby end up like this. Its a ‘heart thing‘... we spend so much much time of our small sparetime, I would never let it end like other mods. We are both working, I have twins... so yeah... its hard to get some time for modding, but we head on. Sometimes smaller steps, other times some big jumps... and let us not forget ‘the xray factor‘^^

And we got your attention, your comments and critc. This motivates a lot! I recieved so many nice pn's in the whole time, this keeps me always up!

Of course there can always be a private problem which maybe will pull us back, but even this might happen... but it won't stop us. We take our time, family and jobs first, but we keep on working.
And the team works perfect until now.

So keep up the trust in us, give us 'some time' the rest WILL follow. :D

But I heard no other reports about in our forum where I try to support this mod as good as possible.

Indeed... the thing is... most freeplay mods just deleted the storyline and thats it. There were a few for almost every stalker part, but they didn't had any good and entertaining content.

This won't happen to ZOTH. You will be busy and not just wandering throught the zone without any good reason.

Try to copy the levels WITHOUT the 'level.ai'.
This causes most of the problems.

Also you can try to let the 'level.graph' away, which can also cause problems.

Some files you have to use from OL the rest from AA will work.
Try out one level and copy the files part by part.
Check out the log and head on until it works.
You can expect some graphical issues if you use this method, but its only a matter of a missing file which will follow.

I copied many levels like this within the every stalker part and it works quite good.^^

We enjoyed more or less the summer and were a bit lazy, but now we go back at work again. Next maingoal is to finish the all.spawn works, so we can focus on missions.

Still looking for some useful stuff like dynamic campfires, or document reader for CS.

A little update. :)

Here is a good quote:

It was about CoP but it fits also to Clear Sky. Even with freeplay you will run out of triggers for respawn. Freeplay wasn't planed, same goes for the respawn. They build in some functions for respawn... but if you guys remember, the respawn in vanilla CS is quite a joke if it isn't triggered by an event, or info portion.

This is the main reason for me to rebuild the respawns in CS/ZOTH. Until now 6 Levels are working quite well with it but there some more levels to be filled with enemies^^

In the meantime I was trying to setup random missions. If this will work, you can choose between 3 or maybe more types of jobs, the targets will be spawned random all over the zone and in the levels you have already visited. At the moment we got 'search item' (PDA,Stick, Bagpack), 'headhunter' (obvious^^) and 'delivery'.

More info will follow. :)
