Hello, And Welcome to my profile on moddb,im a student who find interest in opensource games, and being crative moddeling, much restriced to mood ;D, im currently modding a game named GLEST. And my Mod is Ogrinally enough called: Glest IN SPACE!. In 80's Arcade style. Look it up, you might either hate or love it :D,i hope to make it really good later on, right now its in alpha.

Read instructions again, You have to put the cursors from the mod folder into the game folder , PM me if you still can't get it to work!

This is a underrated and EXCELLENT MOD! Come back developer and fix those last couple of things!
9/10

A couple of things.
1. Infantry
Too low build time, Machine Gunner has 0 sec build time , Actually still playable tho.

2. Super weapons have slight timing issues (damage from ion cannon comes instantly but animation lags behind) , Nuclear weapon Animation is a tad ahead, (nuke warhead heads and then detonates around half a second later).

3. Bridges can't be repaired.

2 and 3 are basically pet peves , This game is AMAZING! and i would EASILY give it 10/10 if those 3 things was fixed.

Bonus stuff, Ingame music works! , That's right real CnC1 Music is runnign during games!

Also @Slye_Fox, The nuke seems kinda Overpowered atm, And the radiation lingers too long imo. Especially for the damage it does. And Lighting storm does not target friendly units.

Again i have to compliment on all the fine details and awesome units in the mod.

I have myself already created one map in alpha phase, but quite playable.

I added a larger comment in the download of the alpha section. But thank you for the great work. as a little sidenote personally i like the Ra2 as it is. Could new units be added as a addon or exstra pack or something similar to this?.

Try changing factions and maps, i had this problem too. As soon as it is loaded and the game starts rendering the game crashes to desktop.

Also try deleting the skimish.ini file.

This is a great mod. :), it's worthing doing a little legwork for :=).

I have the origin version of RA3.

YES, THANK YOU!, -i LOVE THIS!- I cannot express how awesome this is im like, seriously! this is a true nerdboner!,i put on the Red alert 2 soundtrack while playing, even just building buildings, This game _felt_ like RA2!, It felt SOOO GOOOOD!.

For those who want help right _now_ with getting the game to work (with origin for example), i have created a unofficial discord server. Also so we can have some games. i will try to be as much online as possible in this server.

Thank you! and for all your hard work!, i am extremely impressed i have low-tech modded stuff before, so all the stuff you have here is awesome STUNNING! When i used the Chrono i felt a joygasm, i didn't expect it to work. but it did.... and it felt SO GOOD!! "Never existed" "Im gone".

And all the small details! Sounds , Launch effects.

xD, So good gameplay. Oh Also, The Scud Launcher moves around weirdly after having fired it's missile!, Still great job , great mod, and can't WAIT to play RC2.!

Hey,I played the RC1 Beta Release, and first the good,The models look good,it was amazing to see some actual gameplay with the units, i also liked the coast map/campaign, was good to have something that gave a representation of how the gameplay would work. That was the good, now some things did worry m.

The nuke launcher,
The way the nuke launcher act's now, is building placement, and the RA3 engine has a nasty way of handling this, As you might already have seen, if the unit(nuke cannon here), is not exactly on top, it will slide the last part to it's location, besides of that _ i personally _ don't like how you deploy it with a building placement marker ,i don't know how i feel about the nuke icon on the ground, part of the fun in CnC Zero hour, was sometimes escaping a scud or nuke cannon shot, and hope you got all your units out of the AOE range. and dependent on who you were (the guy fleeing with his troop or the guy who ordered the nuke cannon to attack), you would be like YEEEEAH or AWWWW ****!, Also im a little afraid the RA3 engine can't do this, a button deploy/deploy would be nice tho(like "Press F to deploy at current location and Press E to undeploy", the Nuke cannon had a nasty way of deploying and undeploying in Zero hour.

The Avenger,
the avenger has a rather unique ability the ability to shoot down enemy missiles, i did not see this ability in use, can the RA3 Engine actually do such things?.

The UI, i think i read somewhere you had the UI in place, but just in case, do you think the UI can be modded like you want it?, because i again personally don't like the RA3 ui.

And as a side note, I saw wind power turbines in the GLA screenshots, They look great, but if you intend to change the gameplay, could/would you consider making a evolution mode, and a standard Zero hour mode?.

Whatever you do i support you!!!, The mod looks amazing and handles okay in gameplay. I cannot wait for more release, if i can help in anyway just say so. And thank you!. When Generals 2 was canceled i also felt so sad, it looked to be so good, i just think that (EA those bastards), discovered that people wanted a fun successor to Zero Hour and not Esport's game.

Yes, this seems like the low type pathces, wich really dosnt make sense, seeing as there are 3 types of ore "states" in Red alert, Low,Medium, and full.

if it were full a harvester could harvest from the patch 3 times, if it were middle 2, times and one if it were low, this way you could expand the ore even while harvesting with allways being sure the ore truck only took so that there would always be a low-ore patch left. it required some mico, but was AWESOME. :). and a full ore patch simply looked FULL and DENSE.

with that said, its nice to have the ore back,and hell, i could play the mod as it is right now.
