I was going for a more old-styled look there with the wall pieces, but I'll have a look at some reference photos for older architecture (early 20th century) and I'll see what I can do there.

As for the Valve textures, I'm just practicing and learning for now. If I ever get more serious then I'll definitely use custom textures.

I've heard of an used firefox, but for some reason I just like chrome better. Plus, chrome now has add-on support too. I suppose now it's mainly just personal preference.

Even though they probably won't be used, I recommend you add them anyways.

From this angle we can't see much of it, but from what I see you need to add: A trigger, a hammer, and a little more detail on the grip.

FPS Creator. A lot of good stuff can be made with it. However, most of them are using modded engines and next to none of the media that comes with it. Everything this has presented is using the stock media from it.

I can't remember if this was the smaller version or the larger version (I had to make a smaller one to put on a forum elsewhere. They're size limit is 900 pixels). Now I have this colored on the smaller version. Runs fine on mine. But I suppose in an online game, it would be a little laggy. Plus, my comp is pretty top o' the line, and not everyone's is. I mainly did this to try to see if a city environment was possible in FC2. It didn't come out how I'd like, but it still looks like a city. Other then the fact that there's nothing outside of the play area, lol. The problem with the windows is that once you shoot them out here, you see the concrete behind them. I was just trying to inspire creativity with the FC2 editor with this map. Thanks.

I agree use this: as an example, see how there is the raised portion on the back plate. The amount of scratches are also what he means. For other examples, look in other games you've played before. Good luck with this, looks interesting.

Even though its not listed here, you'd be surprised to find out that this was the same engine that hosted Morrowind. Compare it and Fallout 3, major difference in graphics at least.

If I'm not mistaken it has a semi-auto mode, and a full auto mode. Chances are this one will be in full auto. But it would be cool if you could switch modes in game.
