There isn't much to say about me, but I check ModDB frequently for my favorite mods, I enjoy modding as a hobby, and I like to dabble in many different activities.
Red Bull gives your helmet wings!
The stuff to the far left isn't done yet.
I wanted to try experimenting with larger mountains than were in vanilla M2:TW and I think that these two came out okay, but I still need to add more. The flat area around it isn't finished yet at all, haha
Cliff-coast area in the winter.
I think that the large mountains look better in the winter.
The same cliff-coast with farming improvements to better show the different terrains.
This was from and old map that I worked on but never finished, haha.
Just some coastal cliffs I was working on. The swamps in the top right aren't fully finished yet.
Don't press view original! My friend did, and the beauty of it overloaded his brain and put him into a coma.
As for the rabbit sounds, I personally think that they should go, "re-brreebr-yip"
I tried playing it once, but I didn't even make it out of the first dungeon, haha.
Reminds me of F.E.A.R. kinda, nice job guys!
That's cool. Are people with one leg slower?
If his leg is that bloody already, my guess is that its already lost...
Looks nice guys!
Very dark and passage-like :D
I really like the atmosphere in this picture, though I'm not too sure the exact reason why.
I hope your project Thrives, haha, get it? :D
Finally. I can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately, my internet can however, as its a 2 hour download for me. I think it'll be worth it though.
I feel that the textures on these don't match the quality of everything else in this mod. The models are great, but this textures seem bland.
Much better than oblivion's.
Why not visit all of them? :D
or call ghostbusters, either way works. haha.
This is disappointing. Oh well, I'm still looking forwards to anything you do in the future.
I'd like to see Vicky stand next to Mackie...
No. I probably would be able to if I knew what lucent meant. It's third person plural right?
"(view original)" is the proper way to view this.
This looks fantastic guys.
The Temple and the Forum, if I'm not mistaken, haha.
This looks great, I especially like the temple.
Looks sweet. My only problems are the lighting on the lamp in the corner, and that the ceiling texture looks stretched. Other than those things, this has a great atmosphere!
Beautiful, fantastic, stunning, awesome...
There are so many words to describe, but I'll just say that I want the English release soon! You guys have done so much work to make this mod fabulous, I can't wait for it much longer!
I was going for a more old-styled look there with the wall pieces, but I'll have a look at some reference photos for older architecture (early 20th century) and I'll see what I can do there.
As for the Valve textures, I'm just practicing and learning for now. If I ever get more serious then I'll definitely use custom textures.
Thanks for the crit. I'll see what I can do.
lol. Nice, but I see your error. The question says "relationships"...
You only showed one. XD just kidding.
lol, it was just a little joke.
I've heard of an used firefox, but for some reason I just like chrome better. Plus, chrome now has add-on support too. I suppose now it's mainly just personal preference.
lol, I wasn't thinking too much when I made this.. I've gotten a little better, but not too much. I could post a pic of the area I'm working on right now, if you want.
I like this chat HUD much better.
Extremely dark. You can't see the render at all.
786432 faces is why your pc is lagging. You'll never get that into Fallout 3. Those small ridges on the top can be made using normal maps on the model.
Nice, is that in Torque or pre-rendered? It still needs a few changes, to me that face plate just seems too plain.
You guys are getting there.
I realized shortly after this that if someone wants to use it, they'll have to make it have square dimensions anyways so making it seamless was a bit pointless. Oh well.
This is a great way to kill time.
Sorry about the preview pic, I'll get a in-game screenie next time I upload something.
Looks awesome. I don't really have any complaints, other than that the sky should be a bit brighter to match the sun. Normally, you don't see grey skies on sunny days, ;)
Did you consider that fps gamer could have made it for them?
Great model guys, nice to see some finals and not just concepts.
...waiting for the *faps* to start here jk
Thanks, I'll see what I can do with it.
*sigh* you still need to fix that hand rig. Like I said over at the TGC forums, position the hand that holds the front handle as though it were the left hand. It should be coming across the player's screen. I would also move the entire thing down a bit, and maybe even to the left.
Yay! Not dead! :D
I wish you guys were doing Black Marsh first, but oh well. It'll be awesome when you do.
The lips seem a bit stretched, and he looks very bony.
How about instead of just saying this is ****, you actually try to help.
Even though they probably won't be used, I recommend you add them anyways.
From this angle we can't see much of it, but from what I see you need to add: A trigger, a hammer, and a little more detail on the grip.
FPS Creator. A lot of good stuff can be made with it. However, most of them are using modded engines and next to none of the media that comes with it. Everything this has presented is using the stock media from it.
lol, the stick-figure one is funny. You should keep it in as an easter egg.
Is that the gun from your previous picture? The graffiti is the main thing I don't like. Everything else is fine.
you never did say the answer would be long or clear, lol. Anyways, where did you guys get the idea for B-man? I mean his design and appearance mainly.
lol, before I couldn't see the stand in the back. Looks great!
That block (not sure what it is) in the back seems to be sticking up in the ground.
Nice! Much better then the old one, or are they the same textures? None-the-less, it is good.
I don't think Ak's were used in 'nam, were they? I know that it would've been the Vietcong if they did.
I'll get it once I'm at my desktop.
Thanks. I get bored alot at my dad's house, and with little else to do I just mess around in GIMP. From that, I've learned several tricks.
That was fast! Thanks. What do you think about it?
Gotcha. I'll get on it and put it up when I'm done.
No prob man. Do you want me to make a higher res one? This one looks kinda pixelated up there. Thanks. The letters were taken from the L4D2 box art, modified slightly. (the 4 is the first A, the T is the I)
Great job. I especially like the bottom helmet and the top left.
Good article Conker. It makes perfect sense, and I loved the "naked" comparison.
I can't remember if this was the smaller version or the larger version (I had to make a smaller one to put on a forum elsewhere. They're size limit is 900 pixels). Now I have this colored on the smaller version. I'll see about cropping it and putting it up. lol, at first when I was reading your sentence I thought you were gonna be like "But you do have a lot of 'dead space' inspiration."
Runs fine on mine. But I suppose in an online game, it would be a little laggy. Plus, my comp is pretty top o' the line, and not everyone's is. I mainly did this to try to see if a city environment was possible in FC2. It didn't come out how I'd like, but it still looks like a city. Other then the fact that there's nothing outside of the play area, lol. The problem with the windows is that once you shoot them out here, you see the concrete behind them. I was just trying to inspire creativity with the FC2 editor with this map. Thanks.
lol, thanks. I've changed the map a little since this, but not much. I'll see what I can do for cover and boundaries. Thanks for the criticism.
That's pretty good! It's nice to see some more skinned models then just that SCAR (I think that's what it is.)
Add Bethesda and Fallout 3 as an example. Too many Fallout 1 & 2 fanboys hated it immediately because it wasn't isometric. This reminds me of the STEAM group "Boycott the L4D2 Boycott"
Cool. You guys should do something like that for the intro video.
I believe its based off the geckos from the original fallouts (I've never played them though). The bombs must've blown them there, lol
That was awesome. Although it looks like IW is using the same animations for the reloads.
Its the same thing with FPSC. Most people think that putting down only stock stuff can make a great game with it. Nope.
Looks a little...
lol, I didn't notice that when I took the screen shot.
$50 for an engine? That's pretty nice, is an SDK included?
Not really, L4D isn't suppose to be a horror game, more of an action game. If it was a horror game, then the characters wouldn't say the dumbest things ever.
I guess the SWAT mode is taking the place of zombies. Oh well, time to write to Activision to propose a Full-Blown Zombies game :D
New Orleans! :D
Thanks for the link.
Awesome, those should be fun to kill with.
It looks good, but can you show use a comparison shot. A kinda before/after thing?
That's awesome, great job!
looks good. Has just about the same effect as a higher poly model, with less rendering.
That's pretty awesome. I'll track even though I have UT3 for ps3. Maybe you guy's will get to be on the mod browser :D.
sweet. Good luck. Your models are awesome!
looks nice, but this means people will need to have Shivering Isles. Not a problem for me, I have GOTY edition.
Sweet. That means I get to beta test, right? Good luck guys.
Sweet, whats the poly count?
Sweet. I can't wait to play!
Awesome. Your render looks just like it, only more abandoned.
It'll probably bring down FPS even on a gaming rig
I agree use this: Idf.blacksandstudio.com as an example, see how there is the raised portion on the back plate. The amount of scratches are also what he means. For other examples, look in other games you've played before. Good luck with this, looks interesting.
Looks nice, but it does need the ammo box.
Even though its not listed here, you'd be surprised to find out that this was the same engine that hosted Morrowind. Compare it and Fallout 3, major difference in graphics at least.
If I'm not mistaken it has a semi-auto mode, and a full auto mode. Chances are this one will be in full auto. But it would be cool if you could switch modes in game.
Nice, are you actually going to change the models, or leave them the same?
Sweet, but it would be nice to add in a pump-action shotty too.
This shows the different tints, its the same build as the previous one.
Looking good ;-)
Looking even more awesome, can't wait to download
