No, I was just talking about the whole transmission thing. Like, open it with soldiers talking over transmissions. Would the pics be in the gallery?

Hey man, I saw your comments on the L4D2 boycott page. They made perfect sense to me. The only reason they got buried was because most people that would've given you positive karma just didn't bother to even open the page. It was truly a biased argument.

This boycott has become silly, just as all the arguments both for AND against it. I think people should sit down, analyze both sides of the situation, and then make their decision based on facts and their opinion. I've made mine, and that's to wait until after Christmas to buy L4D2 if I do at all. I'll read some reviews both from magazines, players, and websites like IGN and Gamespot. If it sounds fun, i'll rent it and try it out. If its not fun then, I won't buy it. But if it is fun, I will. It seems to me that a lot of problems could be solved if people would just think these sorts of things through. As for the "Boycott the boycott" group, I'm joining.

Halo 3 ODST has many gameplay changes that IMO could actually warrant a sequel. This includes a free roam environment, and the more stealth-centered gameplay. However, we have yet to see any thing really new in L4D2, but I'm waiting to see what else Valve comes up with. It is still a bit too early to pass full judgment.

This is a pretty controversial topic. It seems that no matter what someone says, whether it makes sense or not, it gets negative karma. None-the-less, here I go. This has become insane. I can understand the reasons for the boycott, I personally think it should be released as one DLC the way Shivering Isles was for Oblivion (I say that because I have L4D for my xbox, but its essentially the same thing for computer. Just release it as an expansion pack.) I can't see this being free though. I do not think that valve is going to get any where releasing this as a stand-alone. It will most likely lose them a bunch of players, that would buy future products such as: Half Life 2 Ep. 3 (which I would have rather seen out this year, instead of L4D2), Portal 2, and any other game that valve has up their sleeves. The costs of losing purchases for those will probably convince them to listen to this petition. I'm sorry to say, but I wasn't that fond of L4D, but L4D2 looks a bit more interesting. Regardless, I'll be waiting for a month or two after release to hear some player reviews, no matter what this comes out as.

I'm sorry to say this but people are trying to help you, you're just not listening. If this is your first release, then you have to admit anything wrong to yourself and the community, and then try to fix it. That's how the pro devs work (well, most of them at least). They weren't awesome right away, they had to learn. Most of them are still learning (I hope, otherwise bad parts of games won't get better). To me, it seems that only the games that listen to their fans and critics do really great. Good luck man, just remember to listen and not be harsh just because your critics seem a bit harsh. They won't go easy just because your new at this, if anything they should be even more harsh.

Just because most zombie games don't have a good story doesn't mean that L4D has to. I have faith that Valve could come up with a good story (possibly tie it into Half Life, jk) that's still unique. Have you ever read World War Z? That story was extremely original, detailed, and all-around good.
