Are you sure about that? I have never seen a world map for the Runescape Universe (admittingly) but I have played Runescape since I was a kid and last I recall, at best, most factions only had one town or city. Not a whole country. Did they change this finally and expand the world? I remember the in-game world being quite medioker. Its big for an RPG, but for an RTS, I am not sure.

Just thought as I wrote this, as they using the Armies of Gielinor map instead? The game was playable on funorb before it shut down but I swear that one had more locations and maps to it. But with a very different style.

So this is not the scripts causing errors? Good. I will give this a try and see how it resolves. If it does crash, I will run a few other scenarios to check all my boxes and then make another report here. I have not seen his new video either! I will though later tonight!

Okay, so I have an issue, but I am not yet sure what the direct problem is. I have two games I am playing for Dominion of Isengard. One is a normal no cheat game and the other I am just using the Process CQ (speeds up construction) once per city (assuming I can even use the city name). Regardless of those details, I have attempted to attack Helms Deep two times, once on each campaign.

In game 1, I attacked with an army not lead my Saruman. The moment the battle resolved to lode back into the world map, the game crashed. So, from this instance, I can determine without a doubt the game is crashing when Rohan is given their new army for the loss of this territory.

In game 2, Helms Deep was revealed to have The Ring. Note I am only around the 20th turn and the game is still rather early, but I saw an opportunity to get Saurmon his prize. So, about 5 turns after, I send him with a hefty large army to take the castle. Again, battle resolves and the game crashes.

The problem with game 2 is that I am not sure if it is just the Rohan Script causing the crash, or is it both Rohan and Sarumons script. (I assume these are scripts the game is processing?) So far, I have made several reload attempts with game one to take the castle, even resorting to auto-resolve but the result remains unchanged.

To clarify, I am using the latest install of the mod and I did install to a clean folder of Third Age Total War. I did also use the Address Aware thing at the end of the install process as prompted. Thoughts? Is it just my end or a wider issue?

Also, I lied. I did/do have V3 installed, not v2.1.
I am doing another fresh install just to be safe but if the problem persists, then idk what I will do about this. I will look up this patch while I am at it but if you can, a more reliable link would be helpful just so I don't risk going to the wrong thing.

It tends to happen after I end my turn. And I have not seen a pattern to which AI it crashes on either. The two most common occurrences are right after I click end turn or right as my next turn starts. I will do this and see how well it plays out. Thank you for the response. And what is this LAA patch you speak of?

So I have been having this long-standing issue with this mod that is really coming to frustrate me. I have tried both a full reinstall of D&C, Reinstall of Third Age + D&C, Full OG + mods reinstall and on several occasions, reinstalled with complete new downloads. However, no matter how much I reinstall the game or the mods, I keep hitting crashes around the 60th turn. Funny thing is some games will let me reload and continue a few turns before another crash. But in all cases, I have never gotten past turn 80. Period. This is the point where no matter how many times I reload the game, it straight crashes.

Is it a problem with the version I have? Did a possibly screw something up somewhere else down the line? Can I stop this from happening at all? Also, I do believe I am currently still on v2.1. Literally just found out about v3 lol

Hay man!
I just got your game and I wanted to ask if there was a specific place you would like to get feedback on any bugs or other issues with the game. If there is, may I know where? I just got the mod today and I think it looks totally cool. Would love to stick with you on this for the long term and just keep you aprised of any weird thing I found.

Side note: I did find a glitch with the Haradarim Riders (Sorry if I spelled that wrong). One of my units god wounded attacking goblins but ranked to level two. The unit replaced its losses but after the fact, kept spawning Rank 2 horsemen as single unit battalions. Each unit still took 4 CP but I doubt the intention was to give the player free units.

Last note, if I set the AI to the Harad faction on RUNE (Original Map), the AI do nothing. No building, no training, nothing.

That concludes my current report. Looking forward to checking out the mod more.

Okay, so the current version of this game that I have crashes for the Dwarves of Erebor by turn 61. This has happened to me on three attempts of the campaign, each with a fresh new start. I am not sure if I have version 3 or not but does version 3 fix this bug? At least if you say it does then I know I am outdated but short of a reinstall, I am not sure how I fix this crash issue.

I don't think so? As far as I can tell, I am running a normal version of the game. I have it through steam. Nothing indicates to a Dev version of a launcher. And second, I don't have the slightest clue how to fix the other issues.

I am to assume then that either no one is moderating this page or no one cares to help fix the issue. Honestly, I am quite disappointed. I looked forward to playing this mod. In the event it just may be because of life problems, I will keep a copy of the mod and hope to hear back from you in the future.

I just went through the second attempt. Yes, I ran everything under administrator and double checked the paths. The problem I found is that after I set the 1.2 path to C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age_3 the installer creates another Third_Age_3 file in the existing one.

Hay, so I am back again.

I did a fresh download of this mod, followed your advice from your last reply to my last comment, and I think something still got messed up. To be clear, I did not use my computer while downloading, and I did not download all the files at once.

As for the problem.
To start, I got no prompts about needing to 'retry' any read-only files while installing part 2. Nore were there any prompts to replace any files. I installed this mod into a fresh version of Third Age 3.

Upon launching the mod, the game crashed without making it to the main menu. In case I do not hear from you today, I will be doing a second attempt to install this mod today, within the next few hours. I will be back with an update to any noticeable issues or oddities.

I am experiencing an issue with installing this mod. I downloaded all three launchers (one at a time) and when I ran the first launcher, (Part 1) it crashed at 90%. I attempted to re-download again to be sure the file was not corrupted, the same problem is still happening. Any idea's how I get around this?

Yea I redownloaded the file, something happened to corrupt the download so I have all the missing files back. When I first downloaded, there were only three files in the DATA folder, which made no sense to me unless this was a sub mod to another mod. In any case, problem fixed.

A noobish question I may be smacked around for. I decided to play a vampire and, mind you, I know NOTHING about Warhammer at all, so how do I tell what kinds of armor are for my race or not? I just spent ten minutes looking through google search and found no clear answer on what I should be looking for. I don't think I can run around the game in nothing but a pair of trousers the whole game lol. Help?
