Fixed it by renaming the downloaded file as .exe. really strange.

I've got a question,
Does this mod change the vanilla combat system in any way? Because I really hate this "Unit gets hit by a projectile that's half the size of itself and loses only 1% health"-crap of the vanilla game. And in case your mod doesn't Change it, do u know any Rebellion mod which does exactly this?

You should consider making the rebels have less Impact on early game, it's really annoying sometimes :0

I gave myself a kick in the *** and played them myself several times, I had no problems, actually they seem to be (still) a bit op... so the failure must be the ai. Maybe it's just... bad xD

Big thx. I love this mod so far but I really dont like playing as Nids myself. The problem could also be caused by lack of influence, cause thats what it needs to build the pools, right?
Textures of most mod units are a mess, the GK for example look like stone figures (dark grey instead of metallic), their commander has something on his head that looks like a metal grid and most other armie colors are wrong :/
Edit: And some of the heretic cults etc. even have sororitas badges and baners. Did I do something wrong with the installation maybe?
Ok, maybe this wasnt the best example, but I tried further games and watched as spectator what the AI is doing. The problem is, that it doesnt get requisition fast enough and has always only a small amount of troops, what is definately a disatvantage for a mass-based-army... There is also a bug that makes it stop producing units after a time and first when the HQ is under attack it stars recruiting again...
Is it a bug that everything exept the vanilla units is so... ugly?
These pre-Heresy armors look sooo cool, I wish there were models of them for the tabletop game -_-
I guess the Blood Ravens armor colors are related to these (they are rumored to be a second-founding-chapter of the Thousand Sons Legion)

Already did so, changed nothing. Ill just wait until the next release, maybe they will have improved it then.
By the way, the german translation is horrible. If you havent someone already working on this, id really like to improve it for you.
The settings are all at standard, exept the start location which I fixed. I tired everything from normal to insane. And yes, it actually trains all kinds of units, but it does so first after it has almost been exterminated. I was standing with IG before the entrance to their base and after 40 minutes and after I killed aproxymately 350 Genestealers, Gaunts and Broodlords, it finally started training Warriors, Fexes and Zoantrophes etc. This behaviour it shows on every AI level. They had enough resources all the time, but I think they were just researching too much. :/
But its still not convincing. Does not even build Carnifexes :(

Ive got a roblem (or maybe not), is the tyranid-ai actually doing anything else than building listening posts and sporemine clusters in the latest version?? For it starts with 0 percent Infestion and only spawns a single squad of genestealers, conquering a few strategic points.
