Am I the only one who has to sign out because the Mod either takes more then 10 minutes to load or just freezes and locks me from Alt Tabbing or closing it in Task Manager?

Where is the best place to report bugs. Game just crashed from load on main menu. GC as Empire. Also lots of ships are missing titles and labels of cannons.

I doubt anyone will see this but GOG got rights to sell this game and has bonus stuff from the 64 version and controller usage already set up. 6 bucks. Great deal. Works on Win7-64 most likely for 8 also. Also your Petition site is dead. Any chance there's a new one?

This would be awesome. DK1 was so much better IMHO. War For The Underworld ended up being a huge let down. There were a few good things about that game but in the end the world itself seemed lifeless. What you're doing seems to bring an old class back to life with the same feel. I'll be rooting for you. :)

I know right. It's an awesome game. Hell, so awesome one of the mod groups was recognized by Petroglyph and are now making a game based on their engine since they gave them permission. Shows how awesome companies that care about their products are. You won't see that from EA or Activision. They just buy old awesome companies IP's and #@!* all over them.

Okay, I figured out what was wrong the first time. I was running my game in Dev mode and they weren't. Now I have another problem. We both had completely clean installs and installed the Mods the exact same way. But the game crashes as soon as it starts. We tried at least 20 times, on both New Races and Regular.

It worked this time but there's glitches when you have two monitors running on the same system. When I go to press Esc for the menu the game goes into windowed mode on the other monitor. Also I'm guessing you disabled cheats because they don't work.

One thing to mention and the only possible thing that could be corrupting the install is that some of the files the install tells me to write over are already in the folder after the mod installs. Should I just copy over the files that aren't there and leave the ones that are already there and not copy over them? I'll try that and tell you if it works.

I have used that patch. Like I said I've been doing this for a long time. It loads up the mod, I can look at the main menu and I can even mess with options and the skirmish options. But it just crashes to desktop and give me a microsoft error when I go to load a game. It just bugs me because out of all the mods for A2 this one looks the most interesting. If I can't get it working I guess I'll go back to Nightstalker's Mod for Freelancer. I just had an Armada itch because I grew up on Armada 1 years ago. Everything about the game was amazing back then, even the story was good. I'll try some more when I have time but maybe I'll save the error log and maybe someone could help me with that or make a new patch to fix the problem.

Actually, scratch that. I can't even delete it no matter what method I use. No amount of file shredders or programs can even work without the file freezing everything.

Eh, the installer for this mod freezes my computer. I can't even run it. I can't even look at the properties. I have to delete it with KillBox. Has anyone else had this problem?

Fleet Operations new mod manager makes installing mods easy but I'm guessing your mod is probably incompatible with FO so there's no chance I will ever be able to play it. :( And this mod looks and sounds pretty awesome.

Yes, I did everything you just said to the T. I've been installing mods on games for years and messing around with old games too. I love old PC games. And I'm using XP so I don't understand what the problem is. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice exactly how you put it.

Turning off one of the processors might help. Dual Core Processors mess up a lot of old games that were built for only one.

Erm, quick question, which version is the Desura version? The game just randomly crashes before I can even build any stations. Is it better to just download it manually and install the patch and hotfix?

I really would have high hopes for this but I am a huge fan of DK1. I understand making a sequel based on the fact that it was supposed to come out after 2 but anyone in their right mind would understand 1 was better then 2. I know you don't care about a lowly insignificant person like me, and have no intention of rewriting everything because of that. But I think it should keep all the characters from the original and add all the characters from 2 and make some new ones, and put depth into how to get them to join you. I'm pretty sure you're adding new rooms and traps too. But most of all, I think anyone who was a fan of the series should understand that ***** should have always been a creature you could command. Even tho he was a pain in the ***. I ask just one thing, that you bring ***** back in all his glory minus a damn button that lets him rampage for like a min or two. As in being able to control like the first game. And bring back his sacrifice summoning also. That's all I have to ask. I miss DK. And I hate Peter Molyneux for being a retard after he got knighted. And EA for being greedy faggots. Have you seen the disgrace of a DK game China is making? It's terrible. I have high hopes for you guys, I'm trying to anyway. Everything else I like I have seen die.
