They actually responded some years ago about the "Black Mesa Source" title, and it turned out that they couldn't use the Source name, so the mod is only titled Black Mesa now.

What are you...? The only ones running without Steam nowadays is those that have pirated games, and no mods gets created for those. This is probably (99.99% chance) developed for Half-Life Steam, not Half-Life WAN. If you're good enough, you might get it running without Steam, but what's the point, unless you play with pirated server browsers.

But a suggestion: hide the hud and crosshair under the movies.
And another bug. On the second map when you are attacked by the combines car, please make the "You found the car" movie show up only after the two cars is destroyed because I ran over there when I saw the rocketbox and suddenly I was stuck under that damn movie while the cars attacked me.

The mod was fun and good average.
But I hated that you almost couldn't jump over a single low wall on the maps.
And the AI was a little stupid... Sometimes two or more enemies could just stand still behind a wall while the others attacked you, like if they didn't know you where there.
And I found some textures bugs (but mostly because of I'm the "climbing type" of player.

Please, can't you make the game to "start a new round" after you have killed everyone? It's no fun running around and killing everyone and then suddenly gets kicked back to the menu and waiting for the same map to load again.

Really, really good mod. It was interesting how you managed to put the voices together to create a fully understandable story. Good work on the different dimensions too, it was really fun to finally play on the same side as both Alyx and the combines. The only thing I missed was a little more details i.e. the houses.

Change the gameplay to coop with other players, being able to buy better weapons/equipments in stores, adding quest and maybe more rpg things and then tell me about this mod and I will be sure to play it.
