Game dont even work if you dont have steam version and to say yours does means you have a cracked version (my buddy had thq disc copy that wont work anymore)

you have no idea what little trouble it is to transfer your cd key into steam
and whats bad with steam? ive never had a single problem and there are many games that you have to have steam for that are worth it like RO2 CS:S DOD and TF2 and if Steam supports this game after how long its been out while the retail does not support your version then your argument seems like it falls apart on itself

My buddy has windows 8 (yes i know) and he has problems getting the game to start, it wont make to the splash screen
he has a laptop more then capable of running it i just think its windows 8

When i play this mod with cheat mod,with a friend, on lan
first cheat the resource boost i do causes sync errors is that supposed to happen with the cheat mod?
i had this problem too, but i have steam and verifying cache didnt work, so i deleted all my CoH games, but left mods alone, and re installed My CoH games and they work fine but idk if will be the same for everyone
i think it has to do with the merger and all that stuff

idk if this is a bug or not but the allies (Both CW And USA) cant shoot out of their trenches,i mean they can shoot out of the trench when no enemy is in range, but once an enemy is in range they never shoot but it takes the munition. Its worse for US rifleman because if they try to shoot the HE/AT rifle grenade out of a trench, it explodes in the trench killing the unit.
i don't think they can shoot out of a building either
will this be addressed in any way or are Allies S.O.L?

If im not Mistaken the Jumbo's front armor was meant to counter the Flak 88s at the Beach landings so i think nothing but the 88 should penetrate its front armor and being available early is realistic because its and earlier variant of the Sherman
the way i counter as germans is im normally blitzkreig doc and shell out the cheapest tanks(not the infantry support one) and have them flank the jumbo,i send one to jumbos front to distract it and the others to side oe rear
its not hard to take the little guy out as germans
in fact i think the rear armor for i think the king tiger is OP ive had two Tank Hunters a ranger unit with 2 shreks and the 76w shoot its rear and do little damage, its rear armor where all the gas and shells are, it should do more

well there is a very crude form of it in the zombie mod beta so i figure its possible
i have a slight problem my buddy cant play the newest update with me and others he has just the first company no opposing fronts and no tales of valor it says that something needs to be updated and we searched the file online and it was an opposing fronts file, we have played countless times before the patch and now we cant play together
does the mod now need opposing fronts to work?

theres a bug where if you use the Camo button on the MG teams they dont move, but if you click them to a building they will teleport into the building,no matter if its neutral or on enemy territory
best example is Lyon where the slot "2" has a building in its HQ area,i was playing slot "3" and built an MG, used the camo ability and had him teleport to that building in that HQ
its actually pretty funny but pretty "****"
But taking away Americas guns is like taking away the panther from the germans, what i mean by that is why take away a "strength"?
it was a strength of the U.S to have an assload of awesome guns like the M1 Garand And Thompson like it was Nazi Germany's strength to make the best tanks of the war, so if the Garand is an upgrade will it be for the whole squad? and on top of the garand will the B.A.R be included in it, like a "weapons upgrade pack"?

so based on casulties tht means Army units would in a sense be "cannon fodder" for the Marines?
IIRC Marines lost 20-30 thousand out of 700000(peak) while the Army lost Around 60,000?
i just dont want The Marines to be portrayed as crap and they had to use numbers to win cuz it wasnt the case the whole war a few battles yes like IWO and Tarawa(did i spell tht right) and at the same time i dont want the IJA to be crap either IMO the Pacific theatre of war had the best troops of the war they wanted to be there fighting each other
not like European theatre where most of our men and some germans were drafted and didnt want to be there in the first place
so because of the awesome and gritty nature of trench warfare will there be bayonets,knuckle-dusters,trench clubs,shovels etc?
so pretty much would be be able to lead a charge through no mans land and IF you make it to the trench jump in them and start stabbin' and clubbin' your way to the other end?
so why is the STANDARD ISSUE M1 Garand an upgrade?
i can understand if it was an upgrade for your Marine Corps units they didn't use it early war,they used the 1903 until a bit after the Guadalcanal Campaign but for the Army it was standard issue in 1936 before we even entered the war around 40-41
they did rework the ai but at least they spawned the "F" and "E" variants for you, i always see just the "D" variant with tons of the mortar half-tracks and the light vehicle that acts like a nebelwerfer (dont know the name) and once in a while the panther and late version tiger, maybe it knew i chose U.S. Infantry and to shell the hell out of everything or the difficulty dictates how it acts(i play against hard bots)
but it seems to work better for them because when they sent infantry they got shot to pieces by entrenched rifleman (which is awesome!)

1.I noticed a 1897 trench gun in U.S infantry's CQB squad, does it "act" like a shotgun? meaning multiple pellets and having the chance to hit multiple targets? i wasn't able to tell by zooming in on the squad
2.Where is the R.R upgrade for the U.S rifleman when airborne is your doctrine?
question was answered "devs removed it" but looking at this makes me think they might've been wrong
"fixed the US TC bug (he always died when the tank was blown up)
added a Recoiless rifle upgrade for the Riflemen (Limit of 2, only usable if airborne doc is chosen)
added Eliw00ds edit of the M10 Wolverine, removing the misfire bug!"

i built the airborne FHQ from a building and i also built the one tht the HQ squad make but i wasnt able to find it or anything
so from what i reading, The USMC would be able to fight PE and WM?
would they have AT Units/equipment capable of handling a tiger?
and vise-versa would the IJA have AT Units/equipment to handle a Pershing or a Cromwell?
