Monsters, weapons, potions, spells, quests, pets, bosses, a giant castle... and a funny story! Unepic is a combination of platforming and role playing games. There are many hilarious references throughout the game. The game takes place in Harnakon, a huge medieval castle. It is set in the hardcore NES Style, yet refined with the latest features. This makes Unepic a very unique game. Daniel, the hero, is a normal guy from recent times: a great videogame player, big sci-fi movie fan, novice player of role playing games, pot-head and overall, horny due to a mysterious lack of success with girls. During a D&D session he is teleported to a fantasy castle where his modern way of thinking will go against monsters and other characters from there.

Hello and welcome to Unepic!
If you purchased the game from IndieRoyale you could be confused with Serials, passwords, Register...
Looks like it is not well explained in IndieRoyale's email, but you'll find out everything in this post.
1.- No DRM
The game DOES NOT need to be unlocked to play it. It is not a demo or locked one.
So you can play the whole game and finish it without registering or ever having internet at all.
2.- Why registering?
You can optionaly resiger yourself. This is for a few reasons:
- You can do "online challenges" and earn unepic credits. There are 15 in the castle and this is an extra of the game (never needed to finish it).
- You can exchange "unepic credits" (you will have 100 by default) for special items in the web.
- You can upload your best hits to the "global score table" in the web.
- You can receive important news via email (like begging for a vote in any competition).
3.- How do I register?
You will find a serial in IndieRoyale's email. It is something similar to "iroa12345678". This is the serial needed to register.
In the main menu of the game, press the "Regirter" button (top-right).
Enter the email you want to use (be sure to type it ok), then enter the serial (iroa??????), and you will be registered.
Unepic IS NOT SENDING ANY EMAIL, so do not wait for any email to come with a password.

I would like to buy this game NOW !!!!! and here on desura, to be able to play it NOW.
But one question, as I have most of my games in steam, and I prefer steam, is there any chance to get a steamkey too for this game, when it is released on steam?
Or do I have to buy it in steam again, if I want it for steam then?

Thinking about getting this game looks sick. Couple of question does the developer have plans for further development like dlcs and is there an endless mode or is there a plan for one and is it permadeath or is there an option for permadeath???
Just Downloaded the game!!!....i love it!!!....i used my desura key to unlock the updated demo....no prob...keep up the good work....P.S.....i like running around the dungeon naked with my dinghy out....awsome!!
To update Unepic, just download the game/demo from their website and place it over your old installation. :-)
When we will get Steam ket as it's just have been greenlight?
If we purchase the game from Desura, can we also use the version of the game from unepicgame.com? Wondering about this because it sounds like the Desura version is not as up to date as the version on unepicgame.com.
Also, do both versions of the game have the same features?

Gotta echo what eagleFMJ said: when are we getting an update? I tried doing it on my own, but the save game wasn't easily transferring, so I stuck with 1.0.30.
Moreover why is the Desura 2 versions behind? wtf
