Monsters, weapons, potions, spells, quests, pets, bosses, a giant castle... and a funny story! Unepic is a combination of platforming and role playing games. There are many hilarious references throughout the game. The game takes place in Harnakon, a huge medieval castle. It is set in the hardcore NES Style, yet refined with the latest features. This makes Unepic a very unique game. Daniel, the hero, is a normal guy from recent times: a great videogame player, big sci-fi movie fan, novice player of role playing games, pot-head and overall, horny due to a mysterious lack of success with girls. During a D&D session he is teleported to a fantasy castle where his modern way of thinking will go against monsters and other characters from there.

Hello all,

Steam Keys are given to all those people who suported Unepic in the past and purchased Unepic before it was released in Steam, so they can play the game in Steam without purchasing the game again.

Now that the game was released in Steam, if a new player (that still has not purchased Unepic) wants to play the game in Steam, he will have two options: to purchase the game directly in Steam or in the official web of Unepic (

No Steam Keys will be given to new players that purchase Unepic in other shops out of Steam or the official web after the 26th of June.

Steam Keys are obtained in the "my zone" section of the official web of Unepic:

This game is so great. I really don't understand why steam refused it.
Keep the good work :)

I know! They have let some truly horrid crap onto their service, but would refuse this game, which has done nothing but make me grin from the very onset? This one has mad quality compared to some of the abortions I've seen peddled on Steam.. Grrr...

My guess:
Because of the mention of drug use. For some reason only Rockstar and a couple others can do such things.
They allow ****** games like Hack Slash Loot, which have absolutly no real RTS gameplay. But not a great game like this one.

It also may be because it uses a very odd resolution. My laptop and my older desktop can not play thig game in full screeen mode.

The only other reason is maybe the oddball key layout. And no controller support.

I will post my Xpadder layout as soon as I get it refined more, then you guys can use an Xbox 360 controller. Wish he would use something like SDL then we could even play with a Wii controller if we want too.
Here check it out!

My native desktop resolution is 1920x1200 and my monitor doesn't scale. Is there any way I can play this full screen?

I figured out I can turn on scaling in my GPU settings, but it won't scale and none of the video options seem to do anything.
