Even after a heavy damage attempt, the Insolent killer is still entirely spaceworthy due to her recessed airlock design. Good thinking!

Let's see it survive a direct hit from the splattering ram. (Can I get a
'CHALLENGE ACCEPTED'?)

Hey, I built her to avoid that from happening!

That damage looks pretty bad, I wouldn't have expected her to be still flyable. I guess the wiring to the lasers and engines is destroyed?

I wonder how many shots would be needed to get through the nose armor..

I simulated a left-flank attack from a large number of small explosives - Such as a group of missiles or somesuch. The only damaged section was the left bit of the ship - The entirety of the interior of the thing is AOK, and this ship is quite ready for battle.

Explosive damage looks bad because of its surface area, but it doesn't penetrate deeply.

Cheers,
-Dirk

Indeed, that damage looks pretty superficial. You've made this ship a tough nut to crack, CMDKeen! That won't stop me from trying though - challenge accepted!

Also, I'm working on something new... Mwahahahaha!

Not if I fry through yours first!

And you may want to know you are not the only one making something new.
