Great work so far. Maybe you can tweak arround a bit the sounds, like for example, adding an satifaction "aaaaaahhhh" when you use something like the medkit, that would be really interesting.

The effects haven't been coded in yet (although they're super easy). Using any health item will fade your screen from white for around 3 seconds

Great inventory system, mapper friendly is always a good thing =)

My suggestion would be to have a dialogue popup to say what you've picked up, for most people it'll be obvious but these things should be idiot proof too :P

Not to complain, but why does the context menu appear on right-click?
If you'd give a static position for the tooltip (so it would appear at the same place for every item), you could display the context menu right on the item when you position the mouse over it. It would be much faster.

Description

The next WIP will have armour equipping, character info + weapon attachments.

It's really easy to add items too, if you're a map designer. You just type it into a big manifest file, select the effects/cost/weight, screenshot it in modelviewer and make a texture + pick the sounds you want.
