Agreed. Compared to the others the AUG seemed like it was animated for Counter-Strike or something. Great animations nonetheless.
I think so too, and the reload-time for it is way too short.

Everything looks good except for the origin of the AUG. It looks like it is placed before your shoulder instead of on your shoulder. On the Pistol (sorry I don't have a good gun knowledge) you should remove the delay of the clip release. I don't think in critical situations you forget to press it when reloading. Then on the first gun there is a speed problem. When the magazine is put in and the right hand moves to the bolt, it slows down and then when he pulls it it speeds up too heavy. I know I should only give feedback about the animations but the textures of the AUG look a bit plain. But it's WiP so I think your doing well.
well, you place the aug before your shoulder, not on it
also, the weapon is in reality plain too, there is not much freedom for normal maps if you want to go the realistic way, only thing they could do is adding some dirt on it or rust
reload time is really a bit low, could bee 1-2 secs longer, it looks like he moves his hand down and instantly has a new clip in his hands
clip is fine where it is (great detail on the clips btw!)
I dont like those new rigs, gloves-bare hands never look nice. I would prefer sleeves, or even better - rolled up sleeves.
There is a sleeve, it's just rolled up making the forearm visible.
I love how the AUG sounds like its un-silenced regardless of the supressor mounted on it. >.<

Yeah suppressors don't lower the sound too much but it shouldn't be THAT loud, or else what's the point?

The CZ75's texture is a bit too "white". Other than that, those animations are really nicely done! But like pyroniuos and Skepsis said, the AUG reloading time was way too short.

The AUG looks fantastic and I guess the silencer sounds are not final :P
The animations are good, ignoring the audio which, I take it, is being worked on. I already watched a few of these on Youtube, but here are some more criticisms: The act of slapping the magazine after it's been inserted (in the CZ75) seems a little unnecessary and time-consuming. Pistol magazines aren't the hardest to insert properly. I still think that the delay between firing and pumping on the KS23 (also inserting the last shell and pumping) is a little extreme. I've seen the zombie videos... I wouldn't like to be caught by them.
Your SR2M anims are flawless, though. Keep up the excellent work!
For the KS23 I'd say it's because of how the fire and pump animation are seperate animations based on HL2's shotgun, honestly I think we'll have to make it a single animation to rid the delay.
If it's too difficult then, by all means, don't. It'll subtract little from the experience.

Which is good because muzzle flashes like those seen in the games and movies don't exist.
Maybe some smoke pouring out of the bore then? It feels a little bland without any visual feedback.
Apart from the visual feedback: I know it's all WIP, but I really hope you'll work on the sounds.
There'a realism and then there's immersion.
I would say it'd be more realistic if smoke came out of the muzzle, the soviet corrosive ammo I use in my AK74 causes a pretty good ammount of smoke to come out of the muzzlebrake and a little out of the bolt. Maybe somehow code muzzle flash to be at night only... (Which idk if you can)

I see something wrong with the pistol. Also noticeable in the HL2 pistol, the slide automaticly slides back when you reload a partially full clip. You may wan't to consider different animations to distinguish between an empty reload or a reload with rounds still in the magasine.
Actually it doesn't, I just tested it ingame and it only slide back when the clip is empty and not when it has bullets in it or one in the chamber.
When you said ingame, did you mean in HL2? I just tested it in my copy of HL2 and the slide does slide back automaticly.
Love all of it. The KS23's recoil is fitting but needs work on the sound
From a purely realism standpoint, the time between the mag being tapped and the bolt being charged on the SR2M is stupidly long. Also, the hand grip on the CZ75 is way low, the idea is the gap between thumb and forefinger should be a close to bore axis as is practical(ie, in the curve of the tail of the grip)... What alse.. Oh, the AUG reload is awkward as all hell and the bolt handle does not ******* reciprocate while firing.
Other than that shopping list of things that immediately grate my common sense meter, the animations aren't half bad.
Yes these are all WIP but I wish you could be more helpful and say how the AUG reload is bad *I'm redoing it anyway* rather than saying it's "awkward as all hell", the SR2M's reload is "stupidly long" because he was dry reloading, there are mag swap reloads and dry reloads for Ivan's Secrets as well as weapon draws and weapon first draws *picking up a fresh SR2M resulted in setting it's stock into place*
I'm also pretty sure there are dozens of games *bad company 2 noted even* had an AUG's bolt handle reciprocate while firing, It's a mod now let me enjoy my video game world.

well I'm kinda ****** that I slaved away for hours on tons of animations for this mod and you just come in and do a ****** job redoing all of them.
but since jlea has absolutely no standards I guess it's fine
again, I did coding for debauchery in return for these animations...
JLea, you're enlisting right? Trust me, get the Steyr squared now or you, too, will really crack the ***** every time you use it. The anims for it in MW2 made me want to punch the devs.
I'm not referring to the fact it's a dry reload, I'm reffering to the fact that the transition period between tapping the mag and charging the bolt is jarringly long, as in maybe 3 times longer than it needs to be. Re- the AUG, by awkward as hell I mean that to me, the angle the gun is held at changing the mags looks odd, the timing between poses is odd, especially the bolt charge( and given the lengthy amount of time the somewhat more managable SR3M got on it's reload animation). That's what I mean by awkward.
And yes, you can live in a video game world where you can do what you want, but as long as you're trying to emulate form and function from the real world, does it not make sense to go the extra mile?
And that was my point. Aside from those things, your animation is pretty decent, I just wanted to point out some areas that could improve.
Reloads are amazing. Recoil from hip-firing seems a little wobbly, though. Recoil in-irons is great. Nice work, overall.
PS: The fact that you have different anims for full reload vs mag switch is awesome. =D

smg and shotgun amazing but i feel the handgun is a bit counter strike like, and i think the reload animation could do with a total revamp. but truly truly awesome

Like when he's inserting the new mag maybe make a couple fingers come off the grip or something. Just livens it up a bit more.

Oh, and by the way - the thing being thumbed on the CZ is the safety, not the slide release. The hammer isn't even cocking back as the slide locks, it seems to just clip through it and remain in the 'down' position.
Seriously dude, these need redoing, and preferably with some actual reference material. These anims are even less correct than the ones in your average CoD game.
