There's a perk tree, but it's more like a character progression tree. At each level up you can select certain abilities which cater around different play-styles.

I thought it was adding speed. Helmets may have different weights but I don't know how much it would effect speed "I never tried any military helmets on". If the main character traded jogging pants for Rubber fisherman's overalls I could understand the change in speed.

No helmet - run fast - no effect.

Helmet - run fast - neck strain.

It may not affect the ability to run fast, but a person will instinctively lower their speed to accommodate the momentum shift due to the helmet.

I don't know why people say this. If you have 2 VMT's, you can change the surface prop to whatever + The model will have seperate effects.

Everything looks top notch, I wonder if you will add some overlays for different helmets? Like when wearing a helmet you get to see its front at the top of the screen, or wearing the helmet with cover, u get to see the glass cover.

Ehh maybe. It might be too annoying for playtesters. I mean, you COULD get the facemask which gives you shrapnel protection but if it clouds your perihperals, you may aswell just risk it.

paranoia mod for hl1 had that feature, and it wasnt that annoying, its a mask that u only get the face protection down at the fight time, and take it off at the exploration time

well looks cool, but armor doesnt work like this.... body armor doesnt make you immune against bullets, it only may save your internal organs from being shoot... but you still get kick like from horse which means broken ribs, internal bleeding, hammeredge of internal organs... bullet can got trought even... demends on caliber, gun, and range...

I hope you guys will add a throwing animation for the glow sticks, just makes it a bit more realistic and cooler. But more importantly, I think when you shot the body armour, the enemy should still feel impact of some form, maybe they will flinch when they are shot or something.

Before you make a complaint, remember I've probably heard it 40 times already. So no talking about the NPC's not flinching/not taking damage even with armour on. I've heard it already, and it'll be fixed :D
