Right now, there are people all over the world playing Counter-Strike: Source. Odds are, there are more people playing today than there were playing yesterday. It, like its predecessor, is quite simply a global phenomenon, originally created by and now sustained by the gaming community.

Counter-Strike: Source is a remake of Counter-Strike, and consequently retains all of its team-based objective-oriented first-person-shooter style gameplay. CS:S is a must-have for every action gamer.

Before all of this, just press the download button to download the mod.

Counter-Strike 1.6 Source Beta Seven

Okay, let's have a talk about this release. In this release you will get to see some interesting for you things. In this release you will see the class, team and buy menu like you have seen it in Counter-Strike 1.6. I have made it looks like you have seen it in Counter-Strike 1.6. But I would like to say, that I will make some minor changes to these things, and in the next release you will see a 100% alike class, team and buy menu like you have seen it in Counter-Strike 1.6. So, here are two videos about it, let's have a look.

How to install.

1.) To run this mod you must have the Steam version of Counter-Strike Source and Half-Life 2 to be installed on your computer.

2.) And of course, you need to have the Source SDK Base 2007 to be installed on your computer.

3.) Open "csport.rar" and extract it to the sourcemods folder.

4.) Restart the Steam and you will see "Counter-Strike 1.6 Source".

5.) Double click on it and play.

Valve needs to update the Source engine for CS:S to the Orange Box version(Source 14), because even the Left 4 Dead version of Source (version 34-ish) runs better on my five year old computer.

because CS:S was tried to be kept oringial as CS because CS was such a success. The older source engine you can run on a ******* graphics card (like my nvidia 9300m)and so more ppl can play it at a highers setting than the source 2007 engine.

Surfing works in tf2 quite fine and it runs the ob engine. So i don't think it should be a problem.
