Developer & Publisher
GSC Game World is a Kiev-based computer game developer. Founded in 1995 in Kiev, Ukraine, it released titles such as Cossacks: European Wars, American Conquest, Alexander, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl and is working on titles such the second part of Heroes of Annihilated Empires trilogy. In 2004, GSC Game World founded the publishing branch GSC World Publishing. GSC Game World's most successful game series is Cossacks, but it is also known for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, a survival shooter which has been in development for seven years and was released in March 2007. Most of its titles are published in Europe by Cdv Software Entertainment.

to anyone out there - I can't even open Cossacks 2 Napoleonic Wars, just get the message
"This application can be launched with a release version of Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP/ Server 2003 only"
and XP (sp1, 2 and 3) compatibility mode doesn't work nor does run as administrator. I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit. I've searched everywhere for a solution to this problem but i cant find a any. please I really want to play this game.

I think they should make a modern day version of Cossacks, set in the 20th and 21st century.
