A Star Wars/Dark Forces themed gameplay mod for GZDoom. Taking elements from both Star Wars cannon and legends. Replaces all weapons, enemies and items with Star Wars themed assets. Gameplay is changed quite a lot, but attempts to keep some of the balance of Doom. Most projectiles are 3d models of Star Wars blaster effects. Infighting is also rare and usually only happens between imperials, aliens and bounty hunters (they won't attack their own team). The Icon of Sin is also replaced with a more traditional boss enemy, Emperor Palpatine. You can play as Kyle Katarn or Mara Jade and find lightsabers and unlock force powers, or you can start off as a Jedi. You can also go without the force and play as a rebel trooper or smuggler, each with their own starting weapons, or even go adventurous as the Mandalorian armed with a wrist launcher that boasts several different abilities. You can also customize your experience by changing enemies to different factions, and loading optional add-ons.

Description

This is a patch to run with Doomed Space Wars by Paul Corfiatis. This mod adds new Star Wars themed enemies that replace the new demons added in Doomed Space Wars.

Something to pin point: The final escape sequence in The Chaos Machine is impossible to do, because instead of 1 minute to escape, this somehow shortens it to 40 seconds and that's literally impossible to do, not even my personal fixes work. You might want to look into it, because the monsters and all work fine, it's just that final sequence, that got ****** over.

That's strange. Seems to be an unintentional bug. Sorry about that. I'm not sure why it does that but I'll look into it for sure.

Still unsure what's causing the bug and how to fix it. For now the game ends after defeating the final boss. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If you're getting a crash. Make sure you have GZDoom updated. Make sure you have all the files including spacwars.wad (downloaded separately at Doomworld) and load them in the order given in the description.

Looks like this one needs a fix too :<

I get the following error trying to launch it:

Script error, "Xim-StarWarsSpacwars.pk3:decorate/shadowtrooper2.txt" line 6:
Missing string (unexpected end of file).

Okay, I think I might be having an issue with the upload. Try redownload it and let me know if it works or not. I'm not sure why that's happening.
