Tiberium Dusk is a re-imagining of the Kane's Wrath universe in a way I feel better fits canon, as EA did a pretty poor job with the C&C franchise continuity from Tiberium Wars onwards. This mod doesn't change anything with regards to the story but helps add elements to the gameplay that "fill the gaps" and provide a more Tiberian Sun esque experience (including all its flaws and unbalances) and departs away from the Kane's Wrath RTS formula. Still a work in progress, I've made changes to the AI (buffed turtle AI and made brutals harder), made changes to "Militant Squads" which make them work with the timeline of the franchise, changed the "Nod" faction entirely with a new name, as Kane's Wrath "Nod" works more of a splinter faction rather than a true "Brotherhood"; with Marked of Kane being the new face of the faction. There are also numerous changes to GDI and Scrin, especially Reaper 17 and Steel Talons, which make them play significantly differently.
Introducing the Disc Thrower Squad for Steel Talons!
The Disc Thrower is a Steel Talons exclusive variant of the Grenade Soldier who is armed with massive high-powered cluster grenades shaped like discs.
The Disc Thrower Squad replaces the Rocket Squad and provides heavy anti-ground capability at a reasonable price.
The Cluster Discs can fly a long range compared to the standard grenade troopers, empty garrisoned structures (the longest range of any unit to do this), and do considerable splash damage.
The Disc Thrower Squad comes in a squad of just 2 members, but they're slightly stronger than regular grenadiers.
The rate of fire for Disc Throwers is considerably slower as a result however, and it loses its effectiveness vs infantry. Steel Talons also lacks a reliable anti-air option early game, but they will be receiving another addition soon to help counteract this. :P

I can see people throwing a disk at an era where disk drive are no longer being used lol ;p
But I'm still an old timer who use them tbh (at least for old games I've got) and will be sad to see them go ;o
Suggestion, add a disc drive upgrade for their backpack that will throw additonal disk by it own ;D (Joking ofc)
With how I used to look after disks when I was younger you'd think I'd thrown them. xD
And yeah, I've still got a USB DVD drive I used to put some of the old stuff onto new machine, I miss the old Ra2 / Tiberian Sun installation screens. xP
And omfg lol :D I could make a "floppy disk" debuff that always misses its target. xD
