Tiberium Dusk is a re-imagining of the Kane's Wrath universe in a way I feel better fits canon, as EA did a pretty poor job with the C&C franchise continuity from Tiberium Wars onwards. This mod doesn't change anything with regards to the story but helps add elements to the gameplay that "fill the gaps" and provide a more Tiberian Sun esque experience (including all its flaws and unbalances) and departs away from the Kane's Wrath RTS formula. Still a work in progress, I've made changes to the AI (buffed turtle AI and made brutals harder), made changes to "Militant Squads" which make them work with the timeline of the franchise, changed the "Nod" faction entirely with a new name, as Kane's Wrath "Nod" works more of a splinter faction rather than a true "Brotherhood"; with Marked of Kane being the new face of the faction. There are also numerous changes to GDI and Scrin, especially Reaper 17 and Steel Talons, which make them play significantly differently.

Yep. Its something I've always wanted to implement in CNC3 since I loved it in Generals, still need a bit of work to polish it up but overall its really cool that it can still be done in the engine.

So basically it has a Vengie-like quality to it, eh? Gonna make it absolute hell for any Nod Commander relying on missile-equipped units obviously... ^^;

Regardless, looks great. :3

Oh yeah for sure. The one downside to it is the MARV can't attack and use its laser defence at the same time, so you have to make a choice about being offensive or defensive with it (it has a decent range so it can easily defend allied units for example).

I tried to show it in the video with the infantry it was helping defend (as well as attacking and seeing the laser disabled at the end).

I'm gonna try and improve it with proper audio though like the point defense lasers in generals, so in the final release it should be even better. :)

Will the Redeemer get proper love and care as well? Even with a vanilla rocket trooper and flame trooper inside it (the elite/heroic veterancy solves the auto-repair issue, though external repairing will help speed up repairs for it obviously) it's still quite pathetic and would undoubtedly lose in a 1v1 fight against the MARV after all, it's already quite pathetic outside of other mods giving it proper loving attention of course.

Description

Incoming in the next update, this is the new look GDI Marv, comes fully equipped with unique turrets upon purchase as well as an active protection system replacing the Tiberium Harvesting of the ZOCOM MARV.

All the blue accents to the vehicle have been replaced towards a Steel Grey look with a glowing red exterior.

This mean MARV variant can vaporise any small missiles that head towards it, from infantry to air launched missiles from the Apache giving it an additional layer of protection that is unique to this vehicle.
